Fredia Lusk

Graduated from Harris High School May 1965; attended Tennessee State University and graduated June 1969 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education; pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Alpha Chi chapter; employed in August 1969 as a business education teacher at Tullahoma High School. 

As a business education teacher, she served as the F.B.L.A. advisor for high school business students; varsity fast-ball coach; and varsity cheerleader sponsor; and East and West Middle School Tennis Coach. 

She received a Master of Education degree in Secondary School Counseling August 1976; served as a senior school counselor until retirement in May 2009; recognized as the “Million Dollar” counselor for the college scholarships earned by THS students. After retirement, worked as a Work-based Learning teacher at Tullahoma High School and pre-college counselor for the Tennessee State University College of Engineering. 

Since 2017, she has served as the executive director of the Community Clinic of Shelbyville and Bedford County, Inc. CCSBC serves the low-income and uninsured dental and medical patients from Bedford County.
