February 19: Chrystal Taylor

Chrystal Taylor

Chrystal Taylor currently serves as Assistant Professor of Health Sciences at Jackson State Community College in Jackson, Tennessee, where she was recently recognized by her colleagues for her outstanding contributions as a new faculty member.

Chrystal plays a vital role in the continued development of needed courses and programs. Her dedication to her students is evident in her pursuit of providing needed resources by cultivating meaningful relationships with community stakeholders.

Prior to joining Jackson State Community College, Chrystal worked in leadership roles with her local public-school system as a school nurse and as a registered nurse at both Jackson Madison County General Hospital and Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Chrystal is pursuing a doctoral degree in Adult Education from the University of Memphis. She earned a Master’s degree in Managerial Leadership from the University of Memphis, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Lambuth University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Jackson State Community College.

She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and watching mystery cinema in her spare time.
