TN DATA

Tennessee Data Analytics for Transparency and Accountability (TN DATA) is a statewide initiative led by the Office of Evidence and Impact (OEI) and Strategic Technology Solutions (STS) in partnership with 11 state agencies and nonprofit organizations, including the Department of Children’s Services, Department of Economic and Community Development, Department of Correction, Department of Education, Department of Health, Tennessee Higher Education Commission, Department of Human Services, Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association, Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, and the Division of TennCare. TN DATA aims to improve state services and programs by supporting and coordinating agency partnerships through data sharing and analytics. TN DATA enables new insights into complex challenges and advances Tennessee’s goal of being the best-managed state with high-quality services.

TN DATA furthers Tennessee’s history as a nation-leading state in technological capacity and data integration with state-of-the-art cloud technology and advanced data analytics tools with built-in compliance with state and federal privacy regulations. TN DATA’s novel capabilities equip agencies with sound, trustworthy insights that were previously unattainable but critical to data-driven decision-making.
