Scott's Gulf Wilderness State Park To Host Public Meetings on Proposed Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant

Scott’s Gulf Wilderness State Park will hold two public meetings in March – one in-person and one virtual – seeking input from the public before the park applies for a grant from the Land and Water Conservation Fund.

The in-person meeting will be March 9 at 5:30 p.m. CT, the virtual meeting March 11 at 12:30 p.m. CT.

The Land and Water Conservation Fund is a program to safeguard natural areas, water resources and our cultural heritage, and provide recreation opportunities throughout the nation.

The Office of Outdoor Recreation administers the LWCF grants in Tennessee. Anyone interested may attend the meetings.
