Solid Waste Grants
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), Division of Land Protection (DOLP), Materials Management Program Grants Administration, provides grant funding opportunities to municipalities, counties, and nonprofits throughout the State. This funding provides critical infrastructure, equipment, and education to help meet solid waste, recycling, and waste reduction goals for the Solid Waste Management Plan (SWP). TDEC is dedicated to assisting the state in improving recycling and reducing waste being deposited into landfills.

The Division of Land Protection Grants Administration Program awarded over seven million dollars for the following for FY26 grants:
