The Community Supervision Office located at 212 Pavillion Boulevard in Nashville has reopened. This office is back to normal operations.

  • West Tennessee State Penitentiary To Hold Rapid Hiring Events

    HENNING – The West Tennessee State Penitentiary (WTSP) and Women’s Therapeutic Residential Center (WTRC) will hold a rapid hiring event next Wednesday aimed at filling vacant correctional officer (CO) positions. Last month, Governor Lee announced a 37% increase to the starting salary for CO’s – bringing annual earnings for all new officers to $44,500.

  • Inmate Returned To Custody

    WARTBURG – An inmate who absconded from a work detail in East Tennessee and was wanted for escape will now be returned to the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) custody. Jason Copley, 44, was a minimum-trustee inmate assigned to the Morgan County Correctional Complex when he was reported missing from a work site near the facility on Saturday evening.

  • MCCX Staff Collect, Deliver Over 3,000 Angel Tree Gifts

    WARTBURG – Staff from the Morgan County Correctional Complex (MCCX) spent the day delivering thousands of gifts to local school children earlier this week. Several hundred wrapped gifts were taken to the Morgan County Head Start and over 3,000 more were delivered to the Morgan County School System’s Central Office.

  • TDOC Rolls Out New Technology In Fight Against Contraband

    NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Correction has begun the process of installing new body scanners at state facilities to help fight the introduction of contraband. Through provided images, the scanners will assist security staff in identifying contraband being smuggled inside or on a person’s body.
