HENNING, Tenn. – The Women’s Therapeutic Residential Center (WTRC) in Henning held a commencement ceremony last week for 44 women who have taken steps toward a brighter future.

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) will begin accepting applications for the fall 2024 Citizens’ Correctional Academy on Monday, July 29. The six-week program is designed to give Tennesseans an in-depth look at the state’s largest law enforcement agency.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. –Four inmates participating in Lipscomb University’s Lipscomb Initiative for Education (LIFE) Program at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution (RMSI) received Associate of Arts degrees in a graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 16. This is the first time that college degrees have been awarded to students at Riverbend through Lipscomb’s LIFE program.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) Probation Parole Officer (PPO) Rob Call was chosen as the 2023 Officer of the Year by the Maury County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP). PPO Call, who received the award during the FOP’s annual banquet on January 27, was recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty and protecting human life after observing a known offender in possession of a firearm.

TIPTONVILLE, Tenn. – The Northwest Correctional Complex (NWCX) will hold multiple rapid hiring events on February 13-14, 2024. Attendees will have an opportunity to be interviewed on the spot and receive same-day job offers.
