of the Medical Fee Schedule for Workers' Compensation in Tennessee

The Medical Fee Schedule rules are comprised of three sets of rules:

Chapter 0800-02-17 (Rules for Medical Payments)
Chapter 0800-02-18 (Medical Fee Schedule)
Chapter 0800-02-19 (Inpatient Hospital Fee Schedule)

Furthermore, the date of service in which a medical procedure was performed dictates which version of each set of rules apply to the appropriate billing of the service provided to the injured worker.

Tennessee Rules

The most current rules in effect can be found on the Tennessee Secretary of State's website; however, since calculations and effective rules are based on the date of service, previous versions of the rules are still available to calculate the appropriate fees for medical services in Tennessee workers' compensation cases.
