Peer Recovery Call Center

Are you someone who struggles with mental illness or substance abuse? Would you like to talk to someone who understands? Call the Peer Recovery Call Center.

The Peer Recovery Call Center helps those who struggle with mental illness or substance abuse. It is a service provided by the Mental Health Association of East Tennessee.

All calls are answered by peers, people who have firsthand experience with mental illness and/or substance abuse.

Peers provide callers with important resources and information about mental health and substance abuse.

More importantly, peers are able to offer support and understanding as they have firsthand experience with mental illness and/or substance abuse.

The peers will follow up with support calls if given a caller’s permission.
