The meetings of the Volunteer Tennessee Commission are subject to the Open Meeting requirements. Commission members may participate by electronic or telephonic means.  Under TCA Section 8-44-108, the Commission may rely on the participation of members by electronic or other means to constitute a quorum (simple majority of voting members) only upon a finding of necessity by the Committee.

Any member of the public wishing to join the meeting may attend in-person or join virtually. Any member of the public wishing to address the Commission should make a request in writing to: volunteer.tennessee@tn.gov. Requests should be made no later than 2 business days in advance of the meeting date.
