State Service Plan
Volunteer Tennessee, Tennessee’s state service commission, is required by law to develop a three-year, comprehensive national and community service plan and establish State priorities. Volunteer Tennessee must develop and annually update this state service plan covering a three-year period that is consistent with the broad goals of meeting human, educational, environmental, and public safety needs.
2019-2021 State Plan Extended
The Volunteer Tennessee board met for its annual retreat on October 14-15, 2021. At the retreat, Volunteer Tennessee board voted to extend the current state service plan into 2022. We would like to thank everyone, who participated in this year's public input sessions.
Volunteer Tennessee will continue to develop and seek public input on the next state service plan that will guide our commission for 2023-2025.
