AmeriCorps Alums
If you served in an AmeriCorps, AmeriCorps VISTA, AmeriCorps NCCC, or an AmeriCorps Seniors program anywhere in the US, and currently live in the State of Tennessee, thank you for your service and we look forward to supporting you in your life after AmeriCorps here in the Volunteer State.
AmeriCorps Alums chapters are organized on the local level by Alums living in your community and provide an opportunity to connect to an extended network, volunteer opportunities, and special events.
On the State level, Volunteer Tennessee provides organizing support, continuity, and the following unique opportunities to all local chapters.
- Convening chapter leadership to discuss activities and strategy.
- Use of the Tennessee Serves volunteer management portal to find and list volunteer opportunities.
- State wide convening opportunity at the Tennessee Conference for Volunteerism and Service Learning.
- Networking and professional development.
- Speak with elected officials about your service experience.
- Access to unique benefits only available to Alums living in the State of Tennessee.
In addition, Volunteer Tennessee's AmeriCorps Alums initiative is operated in collaboration with Service Year Alliance to support scalable alum experiences that allow for local, state, and national engagement opportunities for alums.
