Henry County Public Meeting, April 6, 2023

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will host a public meeting on April 6, 2023, to gather public input on the proposed new alignment of S.R. 54 from near Howard Road to the Kentucky state line. The meeting will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the following location:

Dorothy and Noble Harrelson School

143 Puryear Country Club Rd.

Puryear, TN 38251

The proposed project will construct a segment of SR-54 from near Howard Road to the Kentucky state line on new alignment to tie to the ongoing transportation project in Kentucky, west of Hazel, KY.  This project will construct a three-lane facility on five-lane right-of-way which includes a center two-way left turn lane.  The meeting is being held to provide the public an opportunity to provide comments regarding this project. Representatives of TDOT will be available to provide information on various aspects of this proposed project. Anyone with questions regarding the meeting should contact:
