Davidson County Public Meeting on I-40/Donelson Pike Interchange

NOTICE OF DESIGN PUBLIC MEETING

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will conduct a Design Public Meeting on      October 23, 2018 in the Larry Keaton Theatre, Fifty Forward Donelson Station, 108 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214 to discuss the proposed I-40/Donelson Pike (SR-255) interchange and relocation project adjacent to the Nashville International Airport in Nashville, Davidson County (general location map).

The purpose of this project is to construct a new interchange east of the current Donelson Pike interchange and to relocate and widen Donelson Pike from the runway bridges south of I-40 to just north of I-40.  The new interchange will be a Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) configuration.  The project will improve the traffic efficiency and safety within the interchange area as well as handling the increasing traffic demands along Donelson Pike adjacent to the Nashville International Airport, which has seen rapid growth in recent years.

The meeting will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm during which time there will be a presentation followed by a question and answer session.  The public is invited to ask questions and make comments during the meeting.  Representatives of TDOT will be present to provide information on various aspects of this proposed project.
