CUMBERLAND COUNTY I-40 Resurfacing from near the parking area (MM 306.34) to east of Exit 311 (MM 311.12): Construction signs have been installed. The contractor has finished paving. Remaining work includes rumble strips, fog sealing shoulders, delineators, and permanent pavement markings which will require night time lane closures. State trooper assistance will be requested. Working hours will be from 7 PM to 6 AM. During working hours, the speed limit will be reduced from 70 mph to 60 mph using digital speed limit sign assemblies. Estimated project completion date is August 2019.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY Utility Work on SR-28 (S. MAIN ST.) both directions from LM 13 to LM 9: Intermittent lane closures will take place for utility work along South Main Street and Hayes Street to Wild Plum Lane. Signage and flaggers will be used. Motorists should use caution. Work will take place from 05/31/19 through 06/15/19 between 9 AM to 3 PM.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY SR-101 (Peavine Road) Grading, drainage, and paving from Firetower Road to Westchester/Catoosa Boulevard: As grade work progresses, motorists should be alert for shifts in traffic patterns to allow for construction activities. The posted speed limit has been reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph within the work zone. Temporary lane closures and traffic stoppages may be needed to support ongoing work. Lane and/or road closures may be needed within Fairfield Glade to allow installation of storm drain and relocation of utilities. Motorists should reduce speeds on Peavine Road and be alert for construction personnel/equipment entering and exiting the roadway. Estimated project completion date is November 2020.

DEKALB AND WHITE COUNTY US-70 (SR-26) Resurfacing from west of Brent Taylor Road (LM 20.26) in DeKalb County to east of Creekside Place (LM 9.82) in White County: The contractor will be resurfacing during this period. Motorists should expect temporary lane closures during this time and be alert of all construction personnel while traveling through the work zone. Estimated project completion date is September 2019.

FENTRESS COUNTY SR-28 (US-127) Bridge repair over the Wolf River (LM 29.4): The contractor began work and the bridge was reduced to one lane on June 10. The roadway is reduced to one lane for the duration of the work. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the work area and watch for construction equipment. RESTRICTIONS: 10 foot maximum width. Estimated project completion date is August 2019.

FENTRESS COUNTY SR-52, SR-154 and SR-297 Resurfacing (microsurfacing): The contractor will be on site performing paving operations. During the course of construction the contractor will keep one lane of traffic open at all times and will use flaggers to facilitate traffic flow. The routes covered in the project are SR-52 from east of US-127 (SR-28) (LM 13.60) to SR-296 (LM 17.62), SR-154 from north of Louvaine Road (LM 6.25) to the Pickett County line (LM 13.48), and SR-297 from SR-154 (LM 0.00) to the Scott County line (LM 8.79). Motorists are encouraged to use caution and watch for construction equipment in the roadway. Estimated project completion date is June 2019.

FENTRESS COUNTY Vines Ridge Road over Big Laurel Creek Bridge Replacement: Vines Ridge Road remains closed at LM 1.06 and will remain closed until the new bridge is constructed and in place. FENTRESS AND OVERTON COUNTY SR-85 Emergency slide repairs at various locations: The roadway is closed from LM 18.4 to LM 22.4 in Overton county. SR-85 is also closed in Fentress County between LM 5.75 and 8.00. The contractor is continuing work on this contract in the two areas listed where the roadway is closed. Motorists are encouraged to use caution and seek alternate routes. Estimated project completion date is January 2020.

JACKSON COUNTY SR-53 Resurfacing from the Smith County line (LM 0) to north of New Salem Road (LM 9.02), including repair of the bridge over Flynn's Creek (LM 7.84): The contractor has installed message boards and traffic control signs and is scheduled to close SR-53 on the bridge over Flynn's Creek beginning on 06/17/19. The roadway will be closed to all traffic for a period of two weeks. Traffic should follow the signed detour route on SR-290 from SR-53 to SR-56. Estimated project completion date is September 2019.

PUTNAM COUNTY I-40 near MM 296 Bridge repair on Rocky Point Road over I-40: Rocky Point Road bridge at LM 10.08 over I-40 will be closed due to bridge repairs and re-open in June 2019. A detour is in place to guide motorists around the bridge closure. Motorists are advised to use caution and be alert to all construction signage while traveling through the work zone. PUTNAM COUNTY SR-111 (LM 4.08) at I-40 (MM 288) Signal installation on east and westbound ramps in Cookeville, including grading, drainage and paving: The new signals are currently flashing and will be fully operational within the next week. Contractors will be on-site cleaning the work area and installing new striping. At this time, right turns from the westbound off-ramp onto SR-111 North are not allowed. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route during this time. If they must travel through this area, they will experience long delays, as the left turn movement will be the only one allowed. Motorists should use caution when traveling through the work zone. Estimated project completion date is June 2019.

WASHINGTON AVE.) in both directions from LM 4.5 to LM 5.4: Utility work between 4th St. & 6th St. Signage, barrels, and cones will be present during this work. Motorists should use caution and be aware of flaggers. Work should continue through 06/28/2019 between 9 AM and 3 PM.
WHITE COUNTY SR-1 (US-70) Repair of the bridge over the Calfkiller River (LM 9.35) in Sparta: Calfkiller bridge in Sparta is in the first of three permanent phases of lane closures. These phases will affect between Wilson Street and Church Street. This first phase will restrict the west bound traffic to one lane, while retaining the left turn lane and two lanes of traffic in the east bound direction. This phase is expected to be completed by mid-June 2019. Motorists are advised to use caution and be alert to all construction signage while traveling through the work zone Estimated project completion date is September 2019.

BLEDSOE COUNTY SR-101 bridge repair over Bee Creek (LM 8.98): Work on this project is underway. For the safety of the traveling public, the bridge will be reduced to one 10 foot lane and controlled with temporary signals. RESTRICTIONS: 10 foot lane. COFFEE COUNTY I-24 Resurfacing from Bedford County (MM 96) to Noah Fork Creek (MM 101) including bridge deck repair: The contractor has completed the paving process of the roadway surface work as well as the installation process of the rumble strips and snowplowable markers. At this time, work is idle during the week of the Bonnaroo Music Festival and will resume when sub-contractor is scheduled to begin the installation process of the Epoxy Overlay on the bridges. Installation of thermo pavement markings will follow the bridge sealant process. When project progress resumes, the work will continue each Sunday thru Friday during the hours of 7 PM to 6 AM each night. There will be lane closures during all work processes. Motorists should use extreme caution. Law enforcement and safety personnel will be present. Estimated project completion date is August 2019.

COFFEE COUNTY Utility Work on SR-53 (WOODBURY HWY.) in both directions from LM 4.23 to LM 8.72: Intermittent lane closures for utility work will take place along Woodbury Hwy from near Gladys Lane to near Pomroy Road. Signage and flaggers will be used. Motorists should use caution. Work will be done from 05/29/19 through 09/05/19 between 9 AM and 3 PM. No work will be performed during the Bonnaroo Festival.
GRUNDY COUNTY SR-56 (US-41) resurfacing from the Marion County line (LM 0) to SR-56 (LM 5.5): The contractor will continue the work of resurfacing the roadway surface phase of the project. There may be possible temporary lane closures to support the resurfacing of the roadway. Estimated project completion date is September 2019.

MARION COUNTY Utility Work on SR-27 (US-HWY. 72) in both directions from LM 4.67 to LM 7.52: Mobile lane closure for aerial work will take place along Hwy 27 between Hwy 41 at East Valley Rd. Motorists should use caution and be aware of flaggers. Work will be done from 04/23/2019 to 07/01/2019 between 6 AM to 4 PM.
MARION COUNTY SR-156 over Running Water Creek (LM 25.58) bridge rehabilitation: SR-156 is reduced to one 10 foot lane across Running Water Creek Bridge and controlled with a temporary traffic signal while the bridge is repaired. Please use caution when traveling through this area. RESTRICTIONS: 10 foot lane. Estimated project completion date is October 2019.

MARION COUNTY US-41 (US-64, US-72, SR-2) Emergency slope stabilization between LM 25.20 and LM 26.40: Progress work will continue as planned. This project consists of slope stabilization at four separate sites. The contractor will be working on clearing and grubbing in various locations at this time. Traffic signals installed for previous maintenance job remain in the same location until the contractor decides which site he will work on first. Estimated project completion date is November 2019.

VANBUREN COUNTY SR-111 Resurfacing from south of Connell Road (LM 17.8) to the White County line (LM 19.5): During this reporting period, the contractor will have intermittent shoulder closures in either the Southbound or Northbound direction to install pavement markings and permanent signage. WARREN COUNTY Utility Work on SR-288 (HENNESSEE BRIDGE RD.) eastbound from LM 1.22 to LM 4.75: Utility work will take place between Chandler Rd. and Old Rock Island Rd. Signage and flaggers will be used. Motorists should use caution. From 05/20/2019 through 07/05/2019 between 9 AM and 3 PM.
WARREN COUNTY SR-288 Construction of a concrete bulb-tee beam bridge over Collins River (LM 4.97), including grading, drainage and paving: The bridge is currently reduced to one 10.5-foot lane to allow the contractor to construct the new bridge. While the bridge is down to one lane, traffic will be maintained and controlled by a temporary signal. Motorists should expect periodic delays and use caution in the work zone. RESTRICTIONS: 10.5-foot max width. Estimated project completion date is September 2019.

BRADLEY AND MCMINN COUNTY SR-306 Miscellaneous safety improvements from SR-60 (LM 0) to the Meigs County line (LM 8.58), and on SR-307 from Burnett Road (LM 2.18) to Old Mount Harmony Road (LM 6.07): During this reporting period, the contractor will be working on SR-306 and SR-307. Intermittent lane closures will be possible Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Estimated project completion date is July 2019.

BRADLEY, MCMINN, AND MEIGS COUNTY Resurfacing on SR-306 and SR-308 in Bradley County, SR-305 in McMinn County, and SR-306 in Meigs County: Lane closures will be possible on SR-305, SR-306, and SR-308 Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5:30 PM as the contractor begins placing work zone signage. Microsurfacing is scheduled to begin on 06/20/19 on SR-305 weather permitting. Motorists should be aware of flaggers in the work zone assisting with traffic control. HAMILTON COUNTY I-75 at I-24 Interchange Reconstruction: Crews will continue surveying and spotting utilities at various locations throughout the interchange. Shoulders may be closed at these locations between 9 AM and 3 PM. Additionally, a hauling operation will be taking place requiring a single left or right lane closure on I-75 SB at MM 2 and a single left lane closure on I-24 EB at MM 185. There will be an additional single left lane closure on I-24 WB at MM 185 and a possible double lane closure on 24 EB at MM 185. These lane closures will occur the following nights: 06/13/19 between 9 PM and 6 AM and 06/16/19 to 06/19/19 between 9 PM and 6 AM. Haul trucks will be entering and exiting the interstate at these locations.

HAMILTON COUNTY US-27 (I-124) widening from I-24/US-27 interchange to north of the Olgiati Bridge over the Tennessee River, including widening the Olgiati Bridge: Work on this project continues with activities occurring on the west side of southbound US-27. Motorists should be alert for construction vehicles entering and leaving the area along the access ramps for east and westbound M. L. King Boulevard. The speed limit for the access ramp is 35 MPH. The southbound ramp from W. Main St. to southbound US-27 has been temporarily closed and will remain so until further notice. Detours are posted. Motorists should pay close attention to the detour signage posted. The speed limit on US-27 in the construction zone remains 45 MPH. Weather permitting; the contractor may implement temporary lane/shoulder closures on weeknights between the hours of 7 PM and 6 AM. At least one lane will remain open in each direction on US-27. Detours for closures will be posted. HAMILTON COUNTY TDOT Maintenance on SR-2 (CUMMINGS HWY.) in both directions from LM 5.75 to LM 5.75: Bridge Repair - On Monday 06/17/19, SR-2 will be reduced to one lane for bridge maintenance between the hours of 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM at mile marker 5.75. Traffic control will be in place.
HAMILTON COUNTY TDOT Maintenance on SR-2 (CUMMINGS HWY.) westbound from LM 7.0 to LM 7.0: Bridge Repair - On Tuesday 06/18/19, SR-2 will be reduced to one lane for bridge maintenance between the hours of 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM at mile marker 7.0. The west bound lanes of travel will be reduced by one lane. Traffic control will be in place.
HAMILTON COUNTY TDOT Maintenance on SR-319 (DUPONT PKWY.) in both directions from LM 2.0 to LM 2.0: Bridge Repair - On Thursday 06/13/19, SR-319 will be reduced to one lane for bridge maintenance between the hours of 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM between mile markers 2.0 and 2.2. The north and south bound lanes of travel will be reduced by one lane. Traffic control will be in place.
HAMILTON COUNTY Utility Work on SR-320 (E. BRAINERD RD.) westbound from LM 2.05 to LM 2.05: Intermittent lane closures for utility work along E. Brainerd Rd. between N. Concord Rd. and Rowewood Dr. Signage, barrels, and cones will be present during this work. Motorists should use caution. Work will be done from 06/18/19 through 06/27/19 between 10 PM to 5 AM.
HAMILTON COUNTY Utility Work on SR-321 (OOLTEWAH-RINGGOLD RD.) in both directions from LM 3.79 to LM 3.79: Intermittent lane closures for utility work along Ooltewah-Ringgold Rd. between Bennie Lane and Pine Ridge Rd. Signage and flaggers will be used. Motorists should use caution. Work will take place from 06/18/19 through 06/28/19 between 9 AM to 3 PM.
HAMILTON COUNTY Utility Work on SR-8 (TAFT HWY.) in both directions from LM 19.87 to LM 19.88: Intermittent lane closures for utility work along Taft Hwy between Timesville Rd. and Chicory Place. Signage and flaggers will be used. Motorists should use caution. Work will take place from 06/19/19 through 06/28/19 between 9 AM to 3 PM.
HAMILTON COUNTY SR-111 Repair of bridge over SR-29 (US-27): During this report period, the contractor will have one lane closed in each direction of SR-111 while performing bridge repairs. The contractor will also be closing one lane in each direction on SR-29 as it passes under SR-111. One lane in each direction will remain open at all times. Estimated project completion date is October 2019.

HAMILTON COUNTY cleaning of the McCallie Tunnel on US-11 (US-64, SR-2), the Stringers Ridge Tunnel on US-127 (SR-8), and the Bachman Tubes on US-41 (US-76, SR-8): There will be a tunnel cleaning operation at the McCallie tunnel on Wednesday, 06/19/19 (8PM to 6AM). This will be supported by a flagging operation. Additionally, the Stringers Ridge tunnel will be cleaned later that night, supported by a signed detour. No southbound traffic restrictions will be allowed between 5 AM and 9 AM. No northbound traffic restrictions will be allowed between 3 PM and 6 PM. During the initial phase traffic will be maintained on SR-30, White Oak Dr. and New Union Rd. in its current pattern. REGION 2 TDOT Maintenance pothole repair and pavement patching: There will be possible short-term emergency lane closures at various locations in Region 2 in order to repair potholes and patch pavement on an as-needed basis. Depending on location and severity these repairs may be done during the day or at night. In addition to performing the work, regional Operations crews will also provide traffic control.

REGION 2 On-call guardrail repair and new guardrail installation on various interstate and state routes: The contractor may have short term shoulder and/or lane closures in order to perform guardrail repair. These closures will take place on the interstate nightly from 7 PM to 6 AM Sundays through Thursdays and daily on state routes. At least one travel lane will remain open to traffic at all times on the interstate, and flaggers will be present on state routes during any work that is performed. Estimated project completion date is June 2019.

REGION 2 Preventative and unscheduled maintenance of Chattanooga SmartWay Intelligent Transportation System: The contractor may have short term shoulder and/or lane closures in order to perform preventative or unscheduled maintenance to the local SmartWay Intelligent Transportation System. Work hours are 9 AM to 3:30 PM. At least one travel lane will remain open to traffic at all times. Flaggers will assist with traffic control as needed. REGION 2 Sweeping and drain cleaning on various interstate and state routes: There will be mobile lane closures supporting a sweeping operation along various regional interstates and state routes. Additionally, in Hamilton County there will be lane and shoulder closures supporting a drain cleaning operation along I-24 (MM 171 to 185) and SR-29 (LM 2.4 to LM 29.6). Additionally, there could be drain cleaning along I-24 in Marion & Grundy County (MM 160 -MM 161& MM 127-134). Also, there will be drain cleaning on SR-27 in Marion County (LM 2.4 - 3.14). All drain cleaning activity and sweeping will happen at night, Sunday to Thursday (8 PM to 6 AM). Estimated project completion date is February 2020.
