District 47 - West TN - Northern
BENTON COUNTY, SR-69:
A resurfacing project on SR 69 from near SR 391 to near Rocky Ridge Road will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR 104: The grading, drainage, paving and construction of a bridge on SR 104 over Grassy Hollow Creek. Roadway is CLOSED for duration of project.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR 423: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete I-beam bridge on SR 423 over Clear Creek. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
Restrictions: Monday, February 12, a traffic signal system is being utilized. Traffic is reduced to one lane in with a 10’ lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3/US-51: Repair of bridges over South Fork Forked Deer River. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone. Traffic will be reduced to one lane on US 51 (SR 3) in both north and southbound directions, from LM 24.73 to LM 25.00 in Lauderdale County and LM 0.00 to LM 0.40 in Dyer County. SR-3/US-51 northbound traffic will then be shifted to the southbound lanes in the crossover areas. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 portion of the project.
Restrictions: There is a 12’ 10” lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20 (US 412): Repair of bridges over North Fork Forked Deer River. *Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.
Restrictions:
Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20 (US 412): Repair of bridges over Lewis Creek. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

On Monday, May 7, SR 20 was shifted into the westbound direction from LM 2.16 to LM 2.74 for bridge repair. Construction signs and message boards are in use.
Restrictions: Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: The grading, drainage, construction of bridges, retaining wall and paving on SR 54 from near Rison Street to near Smith Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. *Speed limit has been reduced to 35MPH.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: Construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Restrictions: Tuesday, August 1, 2017 through November 30, 2018, a traffic signal system is being utilized. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 9’ lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The inside southbound lane on SR 3 is closed to all traffic for installation of barrier rail.
Restrictions: Tuesday, June 13, 2017 SR 3 has a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ 6” lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-5: A resurfacing project on SR 5 from US 51 (SR 3) to the Kentucky State line will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

OBION COUNTY, SR-21: A resurfacing project on SR 21 from SR 183 to US 51 (SR 3) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

OBION COUNTY, SR-184: A resurfacing project on SR 184 from SR 21 to Church Street will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

TDOT Region IV Random Retracing Contract:
Wednesday, May 30, through Wednesday, June 6, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:
There will be lane closures in Fayette Co. on I-40 west and eastbound directions starting at approximately MM 42.0 to MM 28.0 for retracing.  One lane will remain open in both directions.

District 48 - West TN – Middle/Southern
CHESTER COUNTY, SR 200:
The resurfacing on SR 200 from Rabbit Ranch Rd. (LM 3.05) to the Henderson Co. line (LM 10.84).

CROCKETT COUNTY, SR 76: The grading, drainage, paving and construction of bridges on SR 76 over Cypress Creek and overflow. On February 7, 2018, a traffic signal system is being utilized.
Restriction: There is an 11’ width restriction in place. Traffic reduced to one lane.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR 69:  On February 7, 2018 there was a lane closure on SR 69 to repair the bridge over Lick Creek. Temporary signals will be in use. Restriction: There is a 12’ width restriction in place.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR 20 (US 412): The repair of a bridge on US 412 (SR 20) over the Tennessee River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorist should watch for flagmen.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete bulb-tee bridge and paving on I-40 at the SR 196 (Hickory Withe Road) interchange. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: Intersection improvements, including the grading, drainage and paving SR 100 at the intersection of SR 138 (LM 11.74) in Toone.
LOOK AHEAD:
Monday, June 11:
SR 138 South of the SR 138/SR 100 intersection will be closed to through traffic. A detour will be posted.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR 15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 128 from south of One Stop Drive to south of Opel Loop. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: Wednesday, June 6 and Thursday, June 7, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.: There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 128 at Pickwick Dam (around the 1.00 mile marker). This will be for the right/northbound lane and is for consultants and structures division of TDOT to access the dam.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): A widening project on SR 19 from west of Windrow Road to SR 76 south of Brownsville will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY–SR-76: Construction of a concrete bulb tee beam bridge over the Hatchie River – Wednesday, May 3, 2017 SR 76 CLOSED approx. 1 mile south of the I-40/Exit 56 interchange for removal of the truss bridge. *Local traffic will have access up to the bridge. An interstate detour will be posted at Exit 56 and Exit 52 (Stanton/KoKo Road).

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR 186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps (LM 2.83) to Old Hickory Blvd (LM 3.33) for paving and construction of retaining walls.  Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.

Thursday, May 31, 10:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: I-40 traffic will be rerouted onto ramps so that the new bridge deck can be poured. As a result, north and south bound lanes of US 45 Bypass will be closed at the bridge, where they will then detour onto posted routes. Weather Permitting.
Backup dates Tuesday, June 5, through Friday June 8, 10:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. or Saturday, June 9, 2:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Saturday, June 2, 4:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures on I-40 Eastbound for installation of temporary barrier rail from MM 79 to MM 80. Weather Permitting.

Sunday, June 3, 4:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures on I-40 Westbound for installation of temporary barrier rail from MM 79 to MM 80. Weather Permitting.

Monday, June 4, through Friday, June 8, 8:00 p. m.-2:00 a. m.: Close left lane east bound and west bound on I-40 from MM 79.0-MM 80.0. Weather Permitting.

MADISON COUNTY, I-40: Resurfacing from near US 70 (SR1) mile marker 87 to Henderson County Line mile marker 95.
Sunday, June 3, through Thursday, June 7, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures on I-40 east and westbound, from MM 87 to MM 95 for milling and paving operations. One lane in each direction will remain open at all times.  Weather Permitting.

District 47 & 48 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier Rail
Monday, June 4, and Tuesday, June 5, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:
There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

·         I-40, Haywood, Madison, Henderson, Carroll, and Decatur counties east and west bound (MM 44.00 to MM 126.12)

District 49 - West TN – Southwest
FAYETTE COUNTY, US 70 (US 79, SR-1):
A bridge repair project on SR 1 over branch will result in lane closures in both directions daily.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-59 over I-40: A bridge repair project on US-70 (SR 79, SR 1) over branch and on SR 59 over I-40.

Saturday, June 2, 7:00 p.m. until Mid-Summer: SR-59 over I-40 (Exit 35) will be CLOSED for demolition, repairs and replacement of the bridge deck. Detours will be signed. *Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH on I-40.

Saturday, June 2, 7:00 p.m. through Monday, June 4, 6:00 a.m.: CLOSE and detour I-40 east and westbound onto existing ramps at Exit 35 (SR 59) to allow for demolition of SR 59 bridge over I-40 each night. *Speed limit is reduced to 50 MPH during closure. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Monday, June 4 through Wednesday, June 6, 7:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.: CLOSE and detour I-40 east and westbound onto existing ramps at Exit 35 (SR-59) to allow for demolition of SR 59 bridge over

I-40 each night. *Speed limit is reduced to 50 MPH during closure. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, The resurfacing on I-40 from the Wolf River (LM 9.56) to east of the CSX overpass (LM 11.74):

Sunday, June 3, through Thursday, June 7, 8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from Wolf River to east of the CSX overpass to perform resurfacing work. One lane will be open in each direction. Weather permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 MemFix 4: Replacement of Norfolk Southern, SR 57 east and westbound bridges, and repair of Park Avenue bridge over I-240.
Park Avenue has one lane CLOSED on the westbound on Park Avenue Bridge over I-240.
I-240: There are shoulder closures in the westbound direction of I-240 east/west between Quince and Walnut Grove. The lane closures along I-240 east and westbound between Quince and Walnut Grove will stay in place throughout the project.

Wednesday, May 30, through Friday June 1, 9:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.: There will be lane closures on I-240 eastbound beginning south of Park Avenue and ending just before the eastbound Poplar Avenue bridge for demolition of barrier rail. One lane of I-240 eastbound will be CLOSED. Weather prohibiting, closures will be moved to the next available night.

SHELBY COUNTY, Eastmoreland over I-240 (LM 0.36) and on U.S. 51 (SR 3) over the Wolf River (L.M. 15.25): Bridge repair will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

I-240 southbound inside lane will be CLOSED beginning at LM 4.50 (Exit 26) through LM 5.85 (Elvis Presley Overpass) to allow for drain cleaning. Weather Permitting.

Thursday, May 31 through Thursday, June 7, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.:
I-269 northbound “Off” ramp outside lane at Exit 2 to go SR 385 westbound will be CLOSED beginning at MM 1.80 through MM 2.00 for slide repair. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. On April 21, 2017, Old Covington Pike East access to/from SR 14 was permanently CLOSED.
*Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: The grading, drainage, construction of concrete Bulb-Tee and I-beam bridges, signals and paving on SR 14 from east of Old Covington Pike to SR 385 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-57: Resurfacing on SR-57 from near I-240 to Val Verde
Sunday, June 3 through Thursday, June 7, 7:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 57 east and westbound to allow for resurfacing and safety improvements. Weather Permitting.

  • I-40 east and westbound, MM 23.00 – MM 27.40 east and westbound, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • I-40 east and westbound, EXIT 24 A - B (Airline Road and I-269): One lane will be CLOSED.
  • SR 385 (I-269) north and southbound, MM 1.00 – MM 19.40; various locations; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • SR 385 southbound, MM 7.00 – MM 9.00, near Milton Wilson overpass; One lane will be CLOSED.

SR 385 east and westbound the left lane in each direction will be CLOSED to complete bridge work at Long Road. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45MPH.
Restrictions: Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction and lane shift.

SHELBY COUNTY – The repair of the bridges on I-240 over Kerr Avenue (LM 3.09)
Friday, June 1, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, June 4, 6:00 a.m.:
There will be INTERMITTENT lane closures with one lane to remain open on I-240 northbound (LM 3.09) and two lanes to remain open on I-240 southbound (LM 3.09) to allow for milling and bridge repair.
