Jacob Roper
Jacob is a tax auditor with the Tennessee Department of Revenue's Audit Division. He has been with the division’s Sales and Miscellaneous Tax Audit Review Unit since 2016.
Jacob has served both taxpayers and internal customers as both a tester and trainer for the TNTAP system. His knowledge and expertise help taxpayers file and respond to tax issues on a timely basis, while his assistance and training allows other Revenue employees to better serve the public.
Jacob holds an accounting degree from Tennessee Tech University. He is a graduate of the Department of Human Resources Accelerated Leadership Institute and a recipient of the Governor’s Excellence in Service Award. In his spare time, Jacob enjoys hiking and cooking.
