  • You received the proposed assessment because you did not file a return. Filing the missing return will resolve the estimated assessment. You can file the missing return on your TNTAP account.
  • You must pay the amount reported on your return. If you cannot pay the total amount due, you may request an installment payment agreement on your TNTAP account
  • If you closed the business, please contact Taxpayer Services to close your account. This should resolve the estimated assessment if it is for a period after the business closed. For instructions and information, please visit the Close Your Business page on our website.
