Public Records Policy Now Available

The Department of Revenue has posted its public information policy, as well as other information about how to make a public records request, on its website. Please note that a public records request is not always the best way to get the information you need from the Department. For example, taxpayers do not need to send a public records request to obtain their own tax information or copies of their own tax returns. For motor vehicle records or information, please submit a Vehicle Information Request form. Media requests should be directed to Revenue’s Communication Office.
