Knox County Man Arrested for Tax Evasion
Wednesday, October 19, 2022 | 01:18pmKnoxville, Tenn. - The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to the indictment and arrest of Tyler Ray Love for tax evasion. Love was arrested today at his residence. Bond was set at $5,000.

Knoxville Businessman Guilty of Tax Evasion
Friday, October 07, 2022 | 03:56pmKnoxville, Tenn. - The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to today’s guilty plea by Lance Alexander Cunningham. Judge Steven W. Sword accepted Cunningham’s guilty plea to one count of tax evasion resulting from underreporting the purchase price of a boat he registered with the Knox County Clerk’s Office in 2016. Cunningham was placed on one-year unsupervised probation and ordered to pay restitution to the State.

Hawkins County Man Guilty of Tax Evasion

The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to today’s guilty plea by Frank Wayne Tipton. Judge Alex Pearson accepted Tipton’s guilty plea to one count of tax evasion, placed him on one-year supervised probation, and ordered $4,092 in restitution.

Murfreesboro Restaurant Owner Pleads Guilty to Tax Charges
Friday, August 19, 2022 | 08:01amThe Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to Carlos Flores Ramirez, owner of Carmen’s Taqueria, pleading guilty Thursday. Judge Barry Tidwell accepted Ramirez’ guilty plea to five counts of tax fraud and placed him on six years’ supervised probation. He also ordered Ramirez to pay $304,745.77 in restitution.
