Ready and Resilient Campaign
Introduction
Problems, Stressors and Resilience
Ready and Resilient Campaign (R2C) is a collection of comprehensive and far-reaching programs designed to guide the Army's efforts to build the physical, emotional and psychological resilience of the Total Force - Soldiers (Active, Reserve and National Guard), Army Civilians, and their Families, and directly enhance personal and unit readiness and help prevent suicide. As an integral component of Army’s Ready and Resilient Campaign (R2C), the Army Suicide Prevention Program improves readiness of the Army through the development and enhancement of Army Suicide Prevention Program policies, training, data collection and analysis, and strategic communications designed to minimize suicide behavior; thereby preserving mission effectiveness through individual readiness and resilience for Soldiers, Army Civilians and Family members.
To ensure the health and well-being of the entire team, the Army's goal is to invest in and improve the performance of every individual on the team. R2C offers strength-based, positive psychology tools to aid Soldiers, Leaders and Families in their ability to grow and thrive in the face of challenges and bounce back from adversity. Training and information is targeted to all phases of the Soldier deployment cycle, Soldier life cycle and Soldier support system.
