DANTES Programs

DANTES provides numerous programs and services to assist service members seeking to further their voluntary education goals and objectives.

Be an active drilling member of the ARNG.

Free academic and college credit equivalency exams:

• College credit equivalency exams (CLEP, DSST)

Tests are administered at National Test Centers (NTCs):

• Take a remote proctored CLEP exam
• Locate a local NTC to schedule CLEP exams
• Locate a local NTC to schedule DSST testing

Free test and college prep materials:

• Online Academic Skills Course (OASC) and College Placement Skills Training (CPST)
  • Self-paced and customized based on pre-assessment; includes quizzes to help Soldiers, civilians and family members prepare for college, improve AFCT scores, and build academic skills

• MWR Library Online Resources (EBSCO)  https://dodmwrlibraries.org/
  • Provides free test prep for a variety of military and civilian exams

Other Services

• Distance Learning Readiness Self-Assessment (DLRSA), which helps determine your level of readiness for distance learning
• Education counseling, financial aid guidance, scholarship information, virtual fairs, assistance in locating testing centers
