NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Military Department and TEMA will host numerous city and county mayors, along with other key leaders from across the state in Nashville this week.  Officials will receive an orientation briefing on the Tennessee Maneuvers 2016, a state
emergency response exercise, and how they can potentially participate in this event later this summer.  In addition to city and county officials, multiple state agencies and some non-government organizations have expressed an interest in participating in the exercise and will also have representatives in attendance. One of the main objectives of the Tennessee Maneuvers 2016, or TN MAN '16, is to test and demonstrate the catastrophic response capabilities of state agencies and resources while in support of local governments during a crisis.  The Briefing will take place at 10:00 a.m. on February 3rd, 2016 in the Tennessee Department of Military's Hall of Flags, Joint Forces Headquarters, 3041 Sidco Drive, in Nashville, Tennessee, 37204.  To schedule an interview, contact Maj. (Ret) Randy Harris at 615-313--0662 or CW4 Nick Atwood at 615-313-0835.
