Colonel Jason M. Brock

Colonel Jason Brock is the Director of Staff, Joint Force Headquarters Tennessee. Under his vision and direction, Col. Brock leads the air staff at Joint Force Headquarters Tennessee.

Col. Brock began his military career as an enlisted member serving as a Material Storage and Distribution Specialist in the 134th Resource Management Squadron.  After graduation from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, he was commissioned in 1998 through the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science.  Col. Brock has served in a variety of assignments as a Logistics Readiness Officer and Maintenance Officer, commanding at the flight, squadron, and group levels.

Col. Brock has deployed numerous times in support of multiple operations including ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, SOUTHERN WATCH, NORTHERN WATCH, JOINT GUARD and NOBLE EAGLE.  Most recently, he deployed to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam commanding the 506th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron as part of a Pacific Air Forces Theatre Support Package.   

In 2008, Col. Brock was selected to serve as Commander of the 134th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. During his time as squadron commander, he served in a temporary capacity at the Air National Guard Readiness Center NGB/A4MY as acting KC-135 weapons systems manager. In addition to commanding the 134th Maintenance Group, Col. Brock served as the Air National Guard KC-135 Maintenance Council Chair.

Prior to his selection as Director of Staff at Joint Force Headquarters Tennessee, Col. Brock served as Commander of the 134th Maintenance Group where he led approximately 300 aircraft maintainers ensuring mission readiness for 10 assigned KC-135R aircraft.
