Colonel Tony Glandorf is the Commander of the 194th Engineer Brigade headquartered in Jackson, Tennessee.

Colonel Glandorf joined ROTC at the University of Memphis in 1997. On December 21, 1999, Colonel Glandorf enlisted in the Tennessee Army National Guard as part of the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP). He was commissioned as an Engineer Officer in May 2001, and recognized as a Distinguished Military Graduate.

Colonel Glandorf most recently served as Commander, 230th EN BN, Trenton, TN. His previous assignments include: Operations Officer, 194th EN BDE; Operations Officer, 230th EN BN; Plans Officer, 194th EN BDE; Assistant Operations Officer, 230th EN BN; Assistant Intel Officer, 194th EN BDE; S1, 230th EN BN; Commander, 212th EN CO (V), Paris, TN; Aide-de Camp, 194th EN BDE (TA); Platoon leader, 155th EN CO (CS); Platoon leader, 913th EN CO (CSE)

Colonel Glandorf has deployed to the middle east three times in support of contingency operations as part of Operations Iraqi Freedom III (2004-2005), Enduring Freedom and New Dawn (2011-2012), Freedom’s Sentinel, Inherent Resolve, and Spartan Shield (2019-2020).

Colonel Glandorf earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude, University Honors, Honors in Business) from the University of Memphis, a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle, PA., a Master of Business Administration from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics, and a Juris Doctorate from the Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law, Memphis, TN. He is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College, Engineer Captains Career Course, and Engineer Officer Basic Course.

Colonel Glandorf’s military awards and decorations include: Meritorious Service Medal (4), Army Commendation Medal (3), Army Achievement Medal (4), AR Component Achievement Medal (5), National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal with two Campaign Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/M Device and Silver Hour Glass, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (3), AR Components Overseas Training Ribbon, Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, Meritorious Unit Citation, TN Individual Achievement medal, TN War Service Ribbon (2), TN Service Ribbon (2), TN Distinguished Unit Citation, TN Outstanding Unit Performance Commendation, and awarded the Bronze de Flury Medal.

Colonel Glandorf is employed as a Chief Counsel for Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance where he has worked since 2009 and provides legal advice to the Tennessee Securities Division and Financial Services Investigation unit.
