Colonel Ronald L. Selvidge Jr. is the Commander of the 134th Air Refueling Wing, McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, Tennessee. His responsibilities include executing yearly budgets in excess of $50 million ensuring the readiness of more than 1170 personnel and 10 KC-135R aircraft to meet Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) requirements as well as mission assurance command and control for gaining combatant commanders. McGhee Tyson also hosts the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center. 

Colonel Selvidge began his military career as an enlisted aircraft maintenance technician in the 134th Air Refueling Wing, Tennessee Air National Guard in 1990. In 1997, Selvidge earned his commission from the Academy of Military Science, Air National Guard commissioning program, returning to Tennessee as a pilot in the 134th Air Refueling Wing. Colonel Selvidge is a command pilot with more than 5200 flying hours primarily in the KC-135. Additionally, Colonel Selvidge served in various command positions within the 134th Operations and Maintenance Groups. Prior to his current position as the Deputy Commander of the 134th Air Refueling Wing, the Colonel was the Commander of the 134th Operations Group.
