Age Friendly Public Health

An age friendly public health system, as defined by Trust for America's Health, is one that assures programs, policies, and interventions promote the health and well being of citizens as they age. Trust for Amercia's Health partnered with the Florida Department of Health to implement a public health framework supporting the health and well being of adults. Examples from the Florida Age-Friendly Public Health Systems Initiative have been provided below for reference.
