When completing the application process below, you will be required to submit an official transcript from the institution where you completed your education. The transcript must be mailed directly from the educational institution to the board office located at 665 Mainstream Drive, Nashville, TN 37243.

  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) testing is also required.  Current approved ELP exams include IELTS and TOEFL.  Effective January 1, 2024, additional ELP exams accepted are OET and MET.  No home tests are accepted.

Medication Aide

• Medication Aide Certification Application    *Submit this application in order to receive authorization to take the certification exam for Tennessee.  Only those graduates of approved programs are eligible for Medication Aide Certification in Tennessee.
