FiftyForward Fresh/Meals on Wheels is assembling emergency food bags for those served by FiftyForward whose regular meal options have been disrupted by the COVID-19 health concern. They are in need of several grocery items for the Nashville area.
United Way of Greater Nashville in partnership with Mayor John Cooper's office is hosting a COVID-19 Response Fund to provide local organizations with flexible funding to assist and support individuals and families who are impacted by coronavirus and the health and economic consequences of this outbreak.
COVID Help Nashville was started by one individual with a mission to help those who cannot leave their homes during this crisis. Colunteers can assist with grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and running errands for those who cannot leave their homes. The Branch of Nashville in Antioch is dedicated to helping those in need in the Middle Tennessee area. They are currently seeking help with food pantry volunteers.
Montgomery County is seeking volunteers to assist in geting those who are at-risk critical supplies and food during this time. They have created a match system that will match a healthy colunteer under 60 with someone who falls into the at-risk population. The volunteer will assist in getting food and supplies to their match and completing regular check-ins with them by phone or electronically.
