NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration Commissioner Jim Bryson today announced that April revenues were less than budgeted estimates. Overall, April state revenues were $3.039 billion, which is 0.45 percent less than April 2023 and $74.2 million less than the budgeted estimate.

NASHVILLE – Department of Finance and Administration Commissioner Jim Bryson today announced that Tennessee tax revenues exceeded budgeted estimates in March. Overall March revenues totaled $1.67 billion, which is $55.1 million, or 3.42 percent more than the state received in March of 2023 and $17.6 million more than the budgeted estimate for the month.

Tennessee revenues for the month of January exceeded collections from January of 2023, but were less than the budgeted estimates. Finance and Administration Commissioner Jim Bryson today reported that tax revenues were $1.95 billion, which is $15.8 million more than January of last year, but $97.8 million less than the budgeted estimate. The total growth rate for the month was 0.82 percent.
