Fast Facts provides a quick overview of key statistics about mental health and substance abuse in Tennessee as well as budget and service information for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

Planning

The Office of Planning produces the Three-Year Plan, administers the Statewide and Regional Planning and Policy Councils, coordinates appointments to the Councils and the RMHI Boards of Trustees, and develops the Mental Health Block Grant, the SAMHSA Annual Report, and the Joint Annual Report for the Governor and the Legislature.

Needs Assessment

The Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services completes an annual assessment of need in order to prioritize programming for the most prevalent mental health and substance abuse needs in Tennessee.
