Meet the Department's ADA Director

Austin Nichols was hired in August 2021 to serve as Director of ADA Services. She is responsible for overseeing ADA compliance for Departmental services, programs, and activities for Department service recipients. Austin Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama in 2013. She received her Juris Doctor from Samford University in 2016. Prior to working with the Department, Austin worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Shelby Count from 2016-2020, and an Assistant Attorney General from 2020-2021.
