Personal Income Per Capita

Higher earnings for Tennessee residents increases disposable income for Tennesseans and creates economic prosperity in Tennessee communities. The dashboard below demonstrates the personal income per capita for all 95 counties of Tennessee and for the 10 states of the Southeast. Personal income per capita is calculated as the total personal income of a region's residents divided by the region's population.

Long-Term Objective: Tennessee will have the No. 1 highest personal income per capita in the Southeast by 2025.
