Existing Business Visits

Roughly 70 to 75 percent of the jobs committed in Tennessee each year are generated from existing businesses. The business development teams in TNECD's nine regions meet and build relationships with companies to support growth and expansion activity. The dialogue typically consists of opportunities the company may have and/or overcoming challenges the company may face.

Key Performance Indicators:
The business development team will conduct 3,730 existing business visits from diversified industry clusters during the calendar year.
