NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will again be closing portions of State Route 45/Old Hickory Boulevard in the Old Hickory/Hermitage areas so crews can replace and repave railroad crossings. Detours will be in place.

This is a continuation of the project that began in May. The second replacement happened in July. The third and final location will begin this weekend, Friday, November 3, at 8 p.m. and last until Monday, November 6, at 5 a.m. in Hermitage (between Old Lebanon Dirt Road and Andrew Jackson Parkway).

Trucks can navigate around the closure via Briley Parkway and Lebanon Pike. Local traffic can utilize local side streets.

Motorists are advised to plan for extra travel time and slow down while in a work zone.
