Emergency Paving to Repair Potholes Continues Throughout Middle Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation will be conducting daytime lane closures for the following emergency paving projects for the week of April 28 – May 4, 2022.

Sumner County US 31W/SR 41

Vulcan Materials Co. will be conducting paving activities on US31W/SR41 in both directions from near Dickerson Pike to near Pole Hill Rd. Alternating lane closures will be in place from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Smith County I-40

Vulcan Materials Co. will also be working on I-40 in Smith County from near Dawson Rd. to SR 141 (MM 250-254) in both directions. Alternating lane closures will be in place from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Davidson County SR 155

Alternating lane closures will be conducted in the overnight hours (8 p.m. -5 a.m.) on Briley Parkway/SR 155. Vulcan Materials Co. will mill and pave damaged portions of the road from I-40 to Centennial Blvd. (mm 26-27).
