Emergency Paving to Repair Potholes Continues Throughout Middle Tennessee

Thursday, March 24, 2022 | 04:32pm

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation will be conducting daytime lane closures for the following emergency paving projects for the week of March 24 - 30, 2022.

Alternating lane closures for the projects listed below will begin each day around 9 a.m. and will last until about 3 p.m. At least one lane will remain open at all times. All crews will try to avoid impacts to rush hour traffic as much as possible. Each repaving job is dependent on good weather and the operation of asphalt plants, which normally don’t open during the winter months.

Davidson County

Rogers Group Inc. will be milling and paving I-40 West from Charlotte Pike to 46th Avenue (MM 201-204.8).

Repaving in the westbound lanes of I-24 will begin Friday. Rogers Group Inc. will conduct alternating lane closures on 24 from SR 249/New Hope Rd. to near SR 155 (mile marker 31 to 42).

Work will also be done on SR 255/Harding Place, but for only one day. On Saturday, TDOT will conduct a single, westbound lane closure while Jarrett Paving repairs SR 255/Harding Place from Nolensville Road to Jonquil Road for milling and paving.

Robertson County
Rogers Group, Inc. will continue milling and paving I-65 South in Robertson County from mile marker 103.7 to mile marker 111 (Bethel Rd.).

Jones Bros., Inc will continue working on I-24 West from mile marker 26 – 28, south of Pleasant View.

Wilson County

Vulcan Materials Company will be conducting emergency repaving on I-40 East in Wilson County from the Wilson County Line to SR 109 (MM 222 – 232).

Dickson County

TDOT maintenance crews will repave a portion of I-840 East at mile marker 3.26 on Tuesday, March 29. They will then move to the westbound lanes the next day at the same location.
