District 47 - West TN - Northern
BENTON, DYER, GIBSON, LAKE, OBION, COUNTY, VARIOUS STATE ROUTES:
The retracing of painted pavement marking lines on various state routes will cause rolling lane closures.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412): The resurfacing on SR 20 from US 51 (SR 3) to near Bonicord Road extension may cause temporary lane closures. Motorist should watch for crews and equipment entering and exiting roadways.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-5: The addition of turn lanes on U.S. 45W (SR5) from L.M. 7.66 to L.M. 8.18 will cause traffic to be reduced to one lane in both directions.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-367: The resurfacing of SR 367 from L.M. 0.00 to L.M. 4.73 will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: The grading, drainage, construction of bridges, retaining wall and paving on SR 54 from near Rison Street to near Smith Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. *Speed limit has been reduced to 35MPH.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The southbound traffic has been switched to the northbound side on SR 3 throughout the work zone, for phase 2 construction.

Restrictions: Tuesday, November 13, 2018 SR 3 has a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ 6” lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, US 45W (US-51, SR-3): The repair of 6 bridges on various routes over US 45W US 51(SR 3). Motorist should watch trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

On Friday, April 5, 2019 bridges on McClard Road, Mayberry Road and Wright Road will be closed for bridge repair. Bridge repairs will cause temporary lane closures daily on SR 3 (LM 23.297 to LM 29.97).  Outside lane closures on SR 3 will re-open by 6:00 p.m. daily. Temporary lane closures are possible throughout the remaining duration of the job. Construction signs are in use.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: The repair of the bridges over Mud Creek and Chestnut Branch will cause a lane closure in both directions on SR 22.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-43: The repair of the bridges SR 43 over overflow will cause a lane closure in both directions on SR 43.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55, I-240: Monday, July 8 through Saturday, July 13, 8PM-5AM: There will be multiple night time lane closures in Shelby County to remove and replace extruded panel sign in the following locations:

I-55, northbound between LM 6.64 and LM 10.63

I-55, southbound between LM 7.44 and LM 10.94, (partially close entrance ramp at LM 10.94)

I-240, eastbound between LM 21.9 and LM 22.3

District 48 - West TN – Middle/Southern
HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-1 (US 70):
The resurfacing on SR 1 (US 70) from the Tipton County line (LM 0.00) to Big Muddy Creek (LM 6.28) may cause temporary lane closures. Motorist should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): The construction of an I-Beam bridge along with grading, drainage, and paving may cause temporary lane closures on SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass) from east of SR 87 LM 11.12 to west of Windrow Rd. LM 14.73. One lane will remain open at all times. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH within the project limits.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18: The resurfacing on SR 18 from US 64 (SR-15) (LM 17.39) to THE Madison County line (LM 30.98) may cause temporary lane closures. Motorist should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128:  The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 128 from south of One Stop Drive to south of Opel Loop. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HENDERSON COUNTY/CARROLL, I-40: The resurfacing on I-40 from MM 115.31 (LM 20.31) in Henderson County to MM 120.3 (LM 0.66) in Carroll County.

Monday, July 8, through Friday, July 12, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Intermittent lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from MM 115.31 (LM 20.31) to MM 120.31 (LM 0.66) for paving operations. Weather Permitting.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US 45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR 186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps to Old Hickory Blvd for paving and construction of retaining walls.  Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.

Monday, July 8, 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be flagging operations on the clover leaf ramp from southbound Highland Ave. (US45) to eastbound I-40 for crews to set barrier rail.

Monday, July 8, and Tuesday, July 9, 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be a lane closure in the right lane of westbound Carriage House Drive in order for crews to remove barrier rail.

Monday, July 8, through Wednesday, July 10, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: There will be intermittent left and right lane closures on Highland Ave. (US45) north and southbound from Carriage House Drive/Ridgecrest Rd. to Vann Drive for excavation and construction of temporary turn lanes and ramps onto I-40.  Closures will also allow for the installation of temporary traffic signals.

Thursday, July 11, and Friday, July 12, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:
There will be intermittent left and right lane closures on Highland Ave. (US45) north and southbound from Carriage House Drive/Ridgecrest Rd. to Vann Drive for excavation and construction of temporary turn lanes and ramps onto I-40.  Closures will also allow for the installation of temporary traffic signals.

Thursday, July 11, and Friday, July 12, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: The left lane of I-40 westbound will be closed from MM82-MM79 for crews to remove barrier rail.

Saturday, July 13, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.: There will be left lane closures on Highland Ave. (US45) both north and southbound form Carriage House Drive/Ridgecrest Rd. to Vann Drive for the excavation of a temporary turn lane.

Saturday, July 13, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.: The left lane of I-40 westbound will be closed from MM82-MM79 for crews to remove barrier rail. (BACKUP DATE)

Saturday, July 13, through Monday, July 15, 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures on I-40 westbound from MM82-MM79 for milling and paving operations.

Sunday, July 14, through Wednesday, July 17, 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.:  There will be intermittent lane closures on Highland Ave. (US45) both north and southbound from Carriage House Drive/Ridgecrest Rd. to Vann Drive for temporary ramp paving and shoulder widening.

Sunday, July 14, 6:00 a.m. through Monday, July 15, 6:00a.m.:  There will be right lane closures on I-40 east and westbound at Exit 82 for paving operations along the shoulders.

Monday, July 15, through Wednesday, July 17, 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures on I-40 westbound from MM82-MM79 for milling and paving operations.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-198:  The construction of a concrete box bridge on SR 198 over Bear Creek (LM 8.65) along with grading, drainage, and paving will cause temporary lane closures. Beginning April 29, 2019 there will be an 11’ width restriction and a temporary signal will be put in place. Motorists should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-223:  The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 223 from North of James Lawrence Rd to I-40 including Technology Center Drive. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

TDOT District 48 MAINTENANCE:
Monday, July 8, through Wednesday, July 10, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:
There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.

District 49 - West TN – Southwest
FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40:
Repair of the bridge on I-40 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures on nights and weekends throughout the project.

LOOK AHEAD
Friday, July 12, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, July 15, 6:00 a.m.:
There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound from MM 29.50 to MM 31.00 for bridge deck repair. One lane will remain open at all times. *Speed Limit will be reduced to 60 MPH during closures.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-18: Miscellaneous safety improvements on SR 18 at the intersection of SR 57 LM 3.90 - LM 4.30 may cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-210: Repair of the bridges on SR 210 over the South Fork Forked Deer River will cause possible lane closures through the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40:
Monday, July 8 through Thursday, July 8, 7:30 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: 
There will be lane and shoulder closures on I-40 eastbound from near Exit 20 to Chambers Chapel Road (MM 22.8) to perform resurfacing work.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55: Resurfacing on I-55 from the Mississippi State line to Mill branch Road including bridge deck repair.

Monday, July 8 through Tuesday, July 9, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: INTERMITTENT lane and ramp closures on I-55 north and southbound from Mill branch Road (LM-3.56) to Mississippi (LM-0.00) to perform the resurfacing work. Detours will be provided.

Wednesday, July 10 through Tuesday, July 16, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:
Intermittent lane and ramp closures on I-55 north and southbound from Mill branch Road (LM-3.56) to Mississippi state-line (LM-0.00) to perform the resurfacing work. Detour at ramps will be provided. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 MemFix 4: Replacement of Norfolk Southern, SR 57 east and westbound bridges, and repair of Park Avenue bridge over I-240.
Monday, July 8 through Thursday, July 11, 9:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be lane closures on I-240 east and westbound and Poplar Ave east and westbound.  The associated ramps from I-240 and Poplar Ave. will also be CLOSED with the exception of Poplar westbound to I-240 eastbound.

There will be lane closures on I-240 east and westbound and Poplar Ave. east and westbound.  Ramps associated with the lane closures from I-240 and Poplar Ave. will also be CLOSED with the exception of Poplar westbound to I-240 eastbound and Poplar eastbound to I-240 westbound.  Detours will be provided as needed.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: The grading, drainage, construction of concrete Bulb-Tee and I-beam bridges, signals and paving on SR 14 from east of Old Covington Pike to SR 385 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 385 to east of Kerrville Rosemark. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14:  Bridge repair at Raleigh-Millington Exit
Wednesday, July 3 12:00 a.m. through Sunday, July 31: The Raleigh-Millington Exit from northbound SR 14 to Raleigh-Millington will be closed for repairs.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Resurfacing on SR 385 from the Hacks Cross Road (LM 6.13) to Byhalia Road (L.M. 12.43).
Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: Intermittent lane closures on SR 385 east and westbound from Hacks Cross Road (LM 6.13) to Byhalia Road (LM 12.43) to perform resurfacing work. Weather Permitting.

Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9, 8:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.:
  There will be night time lane closures on SR 3 (Shelby and Tipton Counties), SR 14 (Shelby County), SR 385 (Shelby County), SR 204 (Shelby County), I-40 (Fayette and Shelby Counties), I 269 (Shelby and Fayette Counties), I 55 and I 240 (Shelby County): One lane will be CLOSED to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting

Monday, July 8 through Wednesday, July 10, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:  There will be day time lane closures at various locations on SR 1 and SR 57 (Fayette County), to repair damaged guardrail. One lane will be CLOSED to repair damaged guardrail. If weather prohibits, the repairs will be performed on the next available day. Flagmen will be used where necessary. Weather Permitting

TDOT District 49 MAINTENANCE:
Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:
There will be possible lane closures on all state routes and interstates in District 49 for routine maintenance activities on an as needed basis.

Monday, July 8, 9:00 a.m. through Wednesday, July 10, 12:00 p.m.: The center turn lane and east and westbound inside lanes of SR 57 (Poplar Ave) will be closed in front of the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library to allow for the installation of a median pedestrian refuge island. Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-204 & SR-385:

The US Navy will be closing the gate to Millington Naval Base to rebuild the gate and have asked the Department to place message boards on SR 385 to notify traffic of the closure.  Given the Naval Base Gate is at the end of SR 204 (Singleton Pkwy).
