Middle Tennessee Construction Lane Closures, May 31 - June 6, 2018

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 6 to the I-40 Westbound Ramps and Bridge Rehab on I-24 over Spring St. and Oldham St.

·        Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24  Eastbound to work on joints at  Silliman Evans.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from Cheatham County Line to U.S. 70S (SR 1)

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions from MM 191-196 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from west of Church Street to east of Arlington Avenue

·        Monday, June 4 through Wednesday, June 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on Old Hickory Blvd. from Hillsboro Rd. (SR 106) to Granny White Pk. for striping operations.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The resurfacing on SR 254 (Old Hickory Blvd.) from SR 106 to Granny White Pike (L.M. 2.77-5.44)

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be a lane closure on Old Hickory Blvd. from Hillsboro Rd. (SR 106) to  Granny White Pk. To finish rumble strip and striping operations. One lane will remain open.


DAVIDSON COUNTY, Grading, drainage, signals, and paving on SR 1 from Vultee Blvd. to Jupiter Drive (L.M. 22.50-22.96)

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure in both directions for box culvert deliveries. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Intersection Improvements on SR 6 (Franklin Road) at SR 255 (Harding Place/Battery Lane)

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 for boring, removal of old poles, and changing traffic light placement. One lane will remain open in each direction.   

 

DAVIDSON and SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 386

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) from MM 0 in Davidson County to MM 4.30 in Sumner County for milling and paving.

 

MAURY COUNTY, The repair of bridges on S.R.246 over Carters Creek and Mayhorn Branch

·        Through June 2018, The roadway is reduced to one lane. Temporary traffic signals are in place.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Construction of a new interchange including a concrete bulb-tee beam bridge and paving on SR-166 at US 43 (SR 6) in Mount Pleasant

·        Daily, 9AM-3:30PM There will be lane closures and rolling road blocks in both directions on US-43 for bridge deck welding and blasting.

 

MAURY COUNTY, The bridge repair over Leipers Creek

·        Through June, 2018, SR 247 is reduced to one lane at bridges. Temporary traffic signals control traffic movements at both locations.

 

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Construction of new interchange on I-65 at SR 109

·        From now through June 2018, The inside lane on I-65 northbound at MM 121 will be closed for removal of existing median wall and construction of new overhead signs. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The resurfacing on I-24 from near  Rocky Fork Road (LM 5.20) to near Baker Road (LM 7.75)

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 from MM 68-71 for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

·        Friday, June 1, 8PM through Monday, June 4, 5AM, The eastbound Almaville Road ramps will be closed for repairs.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The resurfacing on SR 1 from the Davidson County line (LM 0.00) to Ken Pilkerton Drive (LM 6.42)

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The resurfacing on SR 266 from I-24 Interchange (LM 0.00) to Threet Industrial Blvd (LM 3.33)

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 266 for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD, WILSON COUNTY, The Resurfacing of I-840 with OGFC from East Fork Stones River Bridge in Rutherford County to just North of the Wilson County line

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-840 from MM 60-65 for milling.   

·        Friday, June 1, 8PM through Monday, June 4, 5AM, There will be lane closures due to bridge repair work. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Construction of a truck climbing lane on I-40 in Smith County

·        Nightly, 8PM-6AM, The inside lane will be closed on I-40 westbound from MM 250-253 for barrier rail removal.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Rockfall Mitigation on SR 25 (L.M. 8.5)

·        Daily, 9AM-2PM, There will be a temporary road closure on SR 25 for blasting operations. This operation should take no more than 30 minutes.

·        Starting Monday, June 4 through August 2018, SR 25 will be down to one 10' lane near MM 9.6 for rock buttress work. Traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signal.   

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, and Paving Work on SR 6 (Franklin Road) from south of Moores Lane (L.M. 15.93) to Concord Road (18.53)

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating temporary lane closures and/or intermittent stoppages of traffic (one direction at a time) northbound between Wikle Road and Long Road for placing barrier rail.

·        Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures north and south of Moore's Lane and Wikle Road for utility work. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-840 from west of U.S. 31 (SR 6) (L.M. 21.70) to near Campbell Rd. (L.M. 26.00)

·        Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-840 in both directions from MM 27-32 for paving operations. At least one lane will remain open in each direction. There will also be temporary ramp closures.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Widening on SR 141 from South of Spring Creek to North of Lovers Lane

·        Daily 6AM-6PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 141 for blasting and construction activities.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 141 from Sugar Flat road to the Smith County Line (L.M. 14.59-21.14)

·        Daily 6AM-6PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 141 for paving activities. One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-440 in both directions for striping work. At least one lane will remain open.

 

Thursday, May 31 and Tuesday, June 5, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound for milling and paving operations from MM 200-205. At least one lane will remain open.

 

DAVIDSON/WILLIAMSON COUNTY

 

Monday, June 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure and lane shift on the on-ramp to I-65 southbound from Old Hickory Blvd in Brentwood (exit 74) for roadway work.

 

Two nights between Tuesday, June 5 and Friday, June 8, 7PM-5AM, The on-ramp to I-65 southbound from Old Hickory Blvd in Brentwood (MM 74) will be closed for two nights for roadway resurfacing, weather permitting.  

 

GILES COUNTY

Monday June 4 and Wednesday, June 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closures on I-65 northbound for bridge work between MM 2-10.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY

Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 2 southbound at LM 3.4 for miscellaneous operations.

 

Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 10 northbound and southbound for miscellaneous operations.

 

SUMNER COUNTY

Daily 12PM-3PM, There will be possible rolling roadblocks for blasting work on SR 386 at the Wynbrooke subdivision.

 

WILSON COUNTY

Daily (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on SR 109 between Callis Road and I-40 for rock blasting/excavation for THE VENUE Project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions at the intersection of SR 109 and Callis Road for construction of turn lane and cross over.

 

Saturday, June 2, 6AM-6:30PM, Mount Juliet Road northbound will be closed at the railroad tracks north of Division Street for railroad crossing repairs. A detour will be in place for traffic.
