Middle Tennessee Weekly Construction Lane Closures, July 27-August 2, 2017

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 6 to the I-40 Westbound Ramps and Bridge Rehab on I-24 Over Spring Street and Oldham Street (M.M. 47 - 48)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Spring Street for construction of bents. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON/WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing from the Williamson County line to South of Armory Drive

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions (including exit and entrance ramps) from the Williamson County line (M.M. 74) to South of Harding Place (M.M. 79) for milling and paving operations. At least one lane will remain open in each direction. The exit and entrance ramps will be temporarily closed for approximately 2 hours at a time on the Harding Place ramps and Old Hickory Boulevard ramps. Signage will be in place.  

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 65 over the Earthman Fork Creek near Old Hickory Blvd/Fontanel Mansion (L.M. 6.02 - 6.08)

  • From now through September 2017, There will be a lane closure on SR 65 for bridge work. The bridge traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.  

 

HICKMAN COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-40 from Humphreys County Line to the Bridge over Sugar Creek (M.M. 148 – 152)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 in both directions to perform milling and paving operations.

 

MACON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 52 at Brattontown Circle and Extending to West of Red Boiling Springs Road (L.M. 9.89 – 14.65)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 52 for milling operations. One lane will remain open.

 

MAURY COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair on SR 396

  • Daily, 4AM through 8PM, There will be traffic shifts on the ramps at SR 396 (Saturn Parkway) and Kedron Road to saw and replace concrete. Traffic lanes will not be affected.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Construction of a New Interchange on SR 6 (US 43) at SR 166 in Mount Pleasant (L.M. 8.0 – 9.0)

  • Daily, 12PM through 3PM (excluding Sunday, July 30), There will be rolling roadblocks on SR 6 in both directions for rock blasting.

 

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, The Widening/Extension of SR 13/Oakland Drive Near Cracker Barrel Drive to the International Blvd. and Solar Way for Hancook Tire (L.M. 26.82 – 28.16)

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Resurfacing/Asphalt Repair of I-65 from the Sumner County Line to South of the Bridge over Honey Creek (M.M. 103.5 – 120.00)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM (excluding Saturday, July 29), There will be a temporary lane closure on I-65 in both directions to perform milling and paving operations as well as full depth asphalt repair operations.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of a New Interchange on SR 1 at SR 10 (Broad Street) and SR 96

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 and SR 96 for construction. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Friday, July 28, 8PM through Monday, July 31, 5AM, There will be a road closure at the intersection of Broad Street, Memorial, and Old Fort Parkway to set the center span of girders. A detour will be in place. Businesses will be accessible to local traffic. Uniformed officers will be used to direct traffic.More information

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge repair on SR 1 over Harts Branch (ABC)

  • Tuesday, August 1 and Wednesday, August 2, 8PM through 5AM, There will be a lane closure in both directions with a single lane of traffic in the northbound lane (reduced form 5 lanes to 2 lanes) to replace half of the existing structure. One lane will remain open in each direction throughout the duration.  

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Repair of the Bridge on SR 16 (US 41A) over the Harpeth River (L.M. 1.71)

  • Tuesday, August 1, 6AM through 6PM, There will be a road closure over the Harpeth River for the removal of the existing bridge beams. Detours will be in place.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of Turning Lanes on SR 96 at the I-24 Westbound Exit Ramp (Exit 78-B) (L.M. 9.52 – L.M. 9.68)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3:30PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 to set the barrier wall for grading the median. One lane will remain open in each direction. There will also be shoulder closures on the ramp at Exit 78B westbound to install temporary roadway.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Rockfall Mitigation on SR 25 (L.M. 8.5)

SUMNER COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on Various Roads in Davidson, Williamson, Sumner, Lawrence, and Maury Counties (L.M. 6.5)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 6AM, There will be a left lane closure on SR 386 northbound at Johnny Cash Parkway for high friction surface treatment. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, The Construction of Retaining Walls on SR 109 from Odom’s Bend to the SR 109 Bypass of South of Gallatin (L.M. 0.5 – 1.65)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 109 for blasting operations at Lorraine Drive. One lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 109 Beginning at I-840 and Extending to I-40 (L.M. 0.00 – 3.99)

  • Nightly, 7PM through 6AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 109 for milling operations. One lane will remain open.  

 

WILSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on SR 26 at the Intersection of Bluebird Road/C.L. Manier Street and Signal Timing from SR 24 to Tennessee Blvd. (L.M. 3.66 – 3.67)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating outside lane closures on C.L. Manier Street/Bluebird Road at the intersection of SR 26 (East Baddour Parkway) for drilling foundations and locating of road crossing conduit. One lane will remain open at all times.

Tuesday, August 1, 8PM through 5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 westbound from MM 200 to 204 for milling and paving work. At least on lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Daily, 10AM through 2PM, There will be ramp closures on I-24 to SR 155 (Briley Parkway) for blasting work between Brick Church Pike and I-24 westbound. Traffic control will be utilized by EMP services. Traffic will be detoured to other exits.

 

HICKMAN COUNTY

Sunday, July 30, 6AM through 9PM, AT&T will have a rolling road block at Exit 152 (SR 230) on I-40 in Hickman County to overlash Fiber Optic Cable onto existing cables.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY

Tuesday, August 1, 8AM through 11AM, There will lane closures in both lanes, in both directions on SR 266 (Jefferson Pike) for a culvert replacement.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY

Wednesday, August 2, 8AM through 11AM, There will be lane closures in both lanes, in both directions for SR 269 (Allison Rd) for a culvert replacement.

 

WILSON COUNTY

Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be a lane closure/reduction on SR 265 westbound between S. Mt. Juliet Road and S. Rutland Road for utility and turn lane work. Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be various lane closures on SR 11 in both directions for slope mowing along the shoulder. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

Tuesday, August 1 and Wednesday, August 2, 9AM through 3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 252 (Wilson Pike) in both directions between Clovercroft Road and McEwen Drive for milling and paving work. At least one lane will remain open at all times.  

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be various lane closures on SR 96 in both directions for slope mowing along the shoulder. One lane will remain open at all times.
