Middle Tennessee Weekly Construction Lane Closures, July 20-26 2017

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 6 to the I-40 Westbound Ramps and Bridge Rehab on I-24 Over Spring Street and Oldham Street (M.M. 47-48)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Spring Street for construction of bents. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON/WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing from the Williamson County Line to South of Harding Place

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions (including exit and entrance ramps) from the Williamson County line (M.M. 74) to South of Harding Place (M.M. 79) for milling and paving operations. At least one lane will remain open in each direction. The exit and entrance ramps will be temporarily closed for approximately 2 hours at a time on the Harding Place ramps and Old Hickory Boulevard ramps. Signage will be in place.  

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The Bridge Repair on SR 65 Over the Earthman Fork Creek near Old Hickory Blvd/Fontanel Mansion (L.M. 6.02-9.68)

  • From now through September 2017, There will be a lane closure on SR 65 for bridge work. The bridge traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.  

 

HICKMAN COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-40 from Humphreys County Line to the Bridge over Sugar Creek (M.M. 148-152)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 in both directions to perform milling and paving operations.

 

MACON COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on SR 151 over Salt Lick Creek (L.M. 2.46)

  • Wednesday, July 19 at 8PM through Wednesday, July 26 at 5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 151 for bridge repair work. The bridge traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.

 

MACON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 52 at Brattontown Cirle and Extending to West of Red Boiling Springs Road (L.M. 9.89-14.65)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 52 for milling operations. One lane will remain open.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, The Widening/Extension of SR 13/Oakland Dr. Near Cracker Barrel Dr. to International Blvd. and Solar Way for Hankook Tire (L.M. 26.82-28.16)

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Resurfacing/Asphalt Repair of I-65 from the Sumner County Line to South of The Bridge over Honey Run Creek (M.M. 103.5-120)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM (excluding Saturday, July 22), There will be a temporary lane closure on I-65 in both directions to perform milling and paving operations as well as full depth asphalt repair operations.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The Resurfacing of I-24 from East of the CSX Railroad Bridge (M.M. 82) to East of Epps Mill Road (M.M. 90)

  • Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22, 8PM - 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions from East of the bridge over CSX Railroad to East of Epps Mill Road for scoring operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Friday, July 21, 8PM through Monday, July 24, 5AM, There will be a partial ramp closure on the on ramp of I-24 westbound (Exit 89) for joint sealing of the concrete pavement. There will also be a ramp closure for the I-24 eastbound entrance and exit ramps for removal and replacement of the concrete pavement.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-840 Eastbound from West Fork Stones River Bridge (M.M. 55) to Est Fork Stones River Bridge (M.M. 61)

  • Sunday, July 23 through Thursday, July 27, 8PM through 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-840 in both directions from West Fork Stones River Bridge to East Fork Stones River Bridge for striping operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 1 from Ken Pilkerton Drive (L.M. 6.42) to West of Florence Road (L.M. 9.82)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 in both directions from Ken Pilkerton Drive to West of Florence Road for paving operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 1 over Harts Branch (ABC)

  • Friday, July 21, 8PM through Monday, July 24, 5AM, There will be a lane closure in both directions on SR 1 southbound to replace half of this existing structure. One lane will remain open in each direction (reduced from 5 lanes to 2 lanes). This closure will be to replace half of the existing structure.
  • Wednesday, July 19 through Friday, July 21, 8PM through 5AM, There will be two lane closures in both directions on SR 1 for milling and precut of the existing structure. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Repair of the Bridge on SR 16 (US 41A) over the Harpeth River (L.M. 1.71)

  • Tuesday, July 25 through Friday, July 28, 8AM through 4PM, There will be a road closure over the Harpeth River for the removal of the existing bridge beams. Detours will be in place.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of Turning Lanes on SR 96 at the I-24 Westbound Exit Ramp (Exit 78-B) (L.M. 9.52-9.68)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3:30PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 to set the barrier wall for grading the median. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Rockfall Mitigation on SR 25 (L.M. 8.5)

  • From now through August 1, 2017, There will be a road closure on SR 25 for rockfall mitigation. Detour routes are in place.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Construction of Retaining Walls on SR 109 from Odom’s Bend to the SR 109 Bypass of South of Gallatin (L.M. 0.5-1.65)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 109 for blasting operations at Lorraine Drive. One lane will remain open.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on Various Roads in Davidson, Williamson, Sumner, Lawrence, and Maury Counties

  • Monday, July 24 through Wednesday, July 26, 8PM through 6AM, There will be a left lane closure on SR  386 northbound at Johnny Cash Parkway for high friction surface treatment. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Random On-Call Signing on Various Interstates and State Routes (M.M. 228-230)

  • Thursday, July 20 and Friday, July 21, 8PM through 5AM, There will be various lane closures on I-40 in both directions for the replacement of overhead signage. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 109 Beginning at I-840 and Extending to I-40 (L.M. 0.00-3.99)

  • Sunday, July 23 through Wednesday, July 26, 7PM through 6AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 109 for milling operations. One lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on SR 26 at the Intersection of Bluebird Road/C.L. Manier Street and Signal Timing from SR 24 to Tennessee Blvd. (L.M. 3.66-3.67)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating outside lane closures on C.L. Manier Street/Bluebird Road at the intersection of SR 26 (East Baddour Pkwy) for drilling foundations and locating of road crossing conduit. One lane will remain open at all times.

Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27, 8PM through 5AM, There will be various lane closures on I-65 in both directions from MM 85-86 for milling and paving work. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Sunday, July 23, 5AM-12:30PM, There will be a road closure on Spring Street Lane from N 1st St. to the Ellington Parkway on/off ramps for the Music City Triathlon.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27, 8PM through 5AM, There will be various lane closures on SR 106 (Hillsboro Road) in both directions for milling and paving. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Daily, 10AM through 2PM, There will be ramp closures on I-24 to SR 155 (Briley Parkway) for blasting work between Brick Church Pike and I-24 westbound. Traffic control will be utilized by EMP services. Traffic will be detoured to other exits.

 

 

SMITH COUNTY

Monday, July 24 through Friday, July 28, 9AM through 3PM, There will be a right lane closure on I-40 in alternating directions for bridge inspection work. One lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY

Wednesday, July 26, and Thursday, July 27, 7PM through 6AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 109 northbound over I-40 eastbound for bridge approach repair. The ramp lane will be on a stop condition. One lane of SR 109 will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY

Monday, July 24, 8AM through 4PM, There will be a traffic shift on SR 171 at the on ramp to I-40 eastbound to the shoulder for concrete slab repair. One lane of traffic will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY

Tuesday, July 25, 7PM through 6AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 24 (Lebanon Road) over SR 109 for bridge approach work. One lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY

Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be a lane closure/reduction on SR 265 westbound between S. Mount Juliet Road and S. Rutland Road for utility and turn lane work. Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be various lane closures on SR 11 in both directions for slope mowing along the shoulder. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be various lane closures on SR 96 in both directions for slope mowing along the shoulder. One lane will remain open at all times.
