BENTON COUNTY, I-40 Truck Climbing Lane
Wednesday, July 12 through Wednesday, July 19: There are no scheduled closures. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone.
*Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH.
CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424: Construction of a concrete bulb-tee beam bridge on SR 424 over Roan Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.
CROCKETT COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412): There will be lane closures on SR 20 (US 412) east and westbound from the Madison County Line to west of the SR-76 overpass for milling and paving.
DYER COUNTY, SR-3: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR-3/SR-211 to SR-77 ramp.
FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete bulb-tee bridge and paving on I-40 at the SR 196 (Hickory Withe Road) interchange. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40: Longitudinal Joint Repair
Sunday, July 16 through Thursday, July 20, 8:00 .p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from Shelby County Line to Haywood County line for joint repair. Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.
FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-196: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Poplar Acres Road to SR 193. Motorist should watch for flagmen.
HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-57: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Fayette County line to Saulsbury Road. Motorist should watch for flagmen.
HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on SR 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.
HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Crump City Limits to the beginning of the Tennessee River Bridge.
HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114: A bridge repair project on the Clifton bridge over the Tennessee River will result in lane shifts and narrowed lanes throughout the project.
HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR 15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.
Monday July 24 through Monday, July 31, 6:00 a. m.-6:00 p. m.: Water Street from east of SR 128 to the intersection of Hannah Blvd. will be closed for one day to replace two storm drains. After this is complete, Water Street will be closed again from SR 128 west to US 64 for one day to replace one storm drain. These closures are planned for consecutive days beginning on July 24 with additional days scheduled in case of weather delays.
HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: Stantec will be performing exploratory drilling and instrumentation installation along the upstream and downstream slopes of the Pickwick Landing Dam.
Monday, July 31 through Wednesday, August 9, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures to perform exploratory drilling at the Pickwick Landing Dam. Traffic will be controlled by flagmen.
Monday, August 14 through Wednesday, August 23, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures to perform exploratory drilling at the Pickwick Landing Dam. Traffic will be controlled by flagmen.
HAYWOOD COUNTY-I-40 from Mile Marker 46 (LM 2.86) to near Koko Road (LM 8.36):
Thursday, July 13, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be lane closures for the saw cutting and replacing of loops. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.
HAYWOOD COUNTY-SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): A widening project on SR 19 from west of Windrow Road to SR 76 south of Brownsville will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.
HAYWOOD COUNTY–SR-76: Construction of a concrete bulb tee beam bridge over the Hatchie River–Wednesday, May 3, 2017 SR 76 will CLOSE at log mile 8.98 (approx. 1 mile south of the I-40/Exit 56 interchange) for removal of the truss bridge. *Local traffic will have access up to the bridge. An interstate detour will be posted at Exit 56 and Exit 52 (Stanton/KoKo Road).
HENDERSON COUNTY–I-40:
Sunday, July 16 through Thursday, July 20, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from Madison County Line to East of SR 104 for milling and paving. Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH. Weather Permitting
LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: The construction of a concrete I-Beam bridge on SR 21 over Branch Creek, including grading, drainage, and paving. There will be possible lane closures in both directions throughout the project.
LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: The construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch LM 16.51 including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
LAUDERDALE, SR-3: Resurfacing work will cause possible lane closures from SR 19 (Lake Drive) to near New Wilson Road.
MADISON COUNTY, SR-138: Construction of 2 concrete box bridges on SR 138 over Muddy Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, May 30 through Tuesday, October 31 a signal system will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction. Sanderson Road will be closed to through traffic.
OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The inside southbound lane on SR 3 is closed to all traffic for installation of barrier rail.
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, June 13, SR 3 will have a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ 6” lane restriction.
SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, July 12 through Wednesday, July 19: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH. There are lane shifts on I-40 east and westbound. Beginning December 5, 2014, there are transitions south and northbound on Canada Road.
Wednesday, July 12, through mid-summer: The I-40 westbound exit ramp to Canada Rd. (MM 20.0) will be OPEN for northbound traffic only.
Wednesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 13, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT alternating lane closures on I-40 west and eastbound for milling and paving. * Friday, July 14, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m. will serve as a backup date.
Sunday, July 16 through Friday, July 21, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT alternating lane closures on I-40 west and eastbound for milling and paving.

Tuesday, July 18 and Wednesday, July 19, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: CLOSE the outside lane on I-55 southbound Arkansas at MM 1.0 on the Mississippi River Bridge to the Tennessee/Arkansas state line to perform maintenance on SmartWay cameras.
SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 from near Horn Lake Road (LM 8.00 L&R) to McLemore Road (LM 11.00 L&R)
Sunday, July 9 through Thursday, July 13, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on I-55 north and southbound (MM 8.00 to MM 11.00) to allow for resurfacing. Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Thursday, July 13, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-240 between MM 0.0 at Madison Avenue to MM 5.0 at Norris Road for pothole repair. *Friday, July 14, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m will serve as a backup date. Weather Permitting.
Friday, July 14, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m: There will be INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-40 between MM 2.0 at Chelsea Avenue to MM 5.0 at Hollywood Street for pothole repair. *Monday, July 17, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p.m. will serve as a backup date. Weather Permitting.
SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project.
On April 21, 2017, Old Covington Pike East access to/from SR 14 was permanently CLOSED.
*Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.
SHELBY COUNTY, SR-205
Monday, July 10 through Friday, July 14: CLOSE all lanes in both directions at the bridge over overflow at LM 3.4, for bridge repair.
SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385 over I-240: Bridge Repair project will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Saturday, July 16, 6:00 a. m.-6:00 p. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-240 west and eastbound at the SR 385 Exit to allow for the installation of noise panels in the area above traffic. One lane will remain open during this period. Also, the ramp from I-240 westbound to Mt. Moriah will be CLOSED. * Friday, July 21, 10:00 p. m.-8:00 a. m. will serve as a backup date.
TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, July 12 through Wednesday, July 19, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.
TDOT Region 4: Random On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair
Monday, July 17 through Monday, July 31: The ramp from northbound US-51/SR 3 to SR 77 (Newbern Exit) will be CLOSED for concrete repair. The posted detour, from Dyersburg, will be from I-155 on to US 412 eastbound then left on to SR 211 northbound for 6.2 miles to Newbern.
TDOT REGION 4: Relensing of Snowplowable Markers: Wednesday, July 12 through Wednesday, July 19: There are no scheduled closures.
TDOT REGION 4: On-Call pavement markings
Wednesday, July 12, through Wednesday, July 19, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be lane closures at the following locations in Shelby Co. for the placement of plastic pavement markers. There will be “a rolling lane closure” in effect. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.
- SR 177 (Germantown Rd), Shelby County, from LM-4.83 (end Wolf River Bridge) to LM-13.11 (SR 1/ US 70), one lane will remain open.
- I-40, westbound, I-40/I-240 Sam Cooper (LM-14.43 to LM-14.94), one lane will remain open.
- Ramp Exit 10A & B right of I-40 westbound I-240 Sam Cooper (LM-14.32 to LM-14.43), one lane will remain open.
- I-40, eastbound I-40/240 Sam Cooper (LM-12.23 to LM-12.68 to LM-13.18), one lane will remain open.
- I-240, eastbound I-40/240 Sam Cooper (LM-17.95 to 18.47 to LM-18.71), Exit 12B & 12C, one lane will remain open.
- I-240, eastbound I-40/240 Sam Cooper (LM-18.71 to LM-19.17 to LM-19.43), one lane will remain open.
- I-40, eastbound I-40/240 Sam Cooper (LM-12.23 to LM 12.68 to LM 13.18), one lane will remain open.
- I-40, westbound I-40/240 Sam Cooper (LM-14.43 to LM 14.94 to LM-15.19), one lane will remain open.
- I-55, southbound Crump-Riverside Dr. (LM-11.91 to LM-11.76), one lane will remain open.
TDOT District 47 & 48 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier
Wednesday, July 12 through Thursday, July 20, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.(excluding Friday and Saturday),: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.
- I-40 Haywood, Madison, Henderson, Carroll, Decatur counties east & westbound (MM 50.00 to MM 127.00), one lane will remain open.
TDOT District 49 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier
Wednesday, July 5 through Wednesday, July 12 (excluding Friday and Saturday), 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. The contractor plans to repair these locations on Wednesday night, July 5. *Backup dates for this work will be performed on the next available night through Wednesday July 12th. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.
- I-40, Shelby County, eastbound outside lane between Appling Road and Germantown Parkway (MM 15.6–MM 15.8), one lane will remain open.
- I-40, Shelby County, eastbound off ramp at EXIT 16 (MM 16.2–MM 16.4) to SB SR-177 (Germantown Parkway), the northbound ramp will remain open.
- I-40, Shelby County, eastbound off ramp at EXIT 16 (MM 16-2–MM 16.6) to NB SR-177 (Germantown Parkway), the southbound ramp will remain open.
TIPTON, SR-179: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures, in both directions daily, from SR 54 to SR 14.
