BENTON COUNTY, I-40 Truck Climbing Lane
Wednesday, May 31 through Wednesday, June 7: There are no scheduled closures. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone.
*Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH.

BENTON COUNTY, SR-69 (US-641): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Decatur County line to near James Walker Road.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-1 (US-70): Bridge repair project on SR 1 over overflow LM 31.17.
Tuesday, April 25 through Tuesday, October 31, 2017, a signal system is being utilized. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Watch for flagmen.​
Restrictions: On Tuesday, April 25, 2017, a signal system was put into place. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424: Construction of a concrete bulb-tee beam bridge on SR 424 over Roan Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways. Restrictions: Beginning Thursday, January 19, 2017, a signal system was put into place. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-436: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from near the north end of the Old Obion River bed bridge to SR 76.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete bulb-tee bridge and paving on I-40 at the SR 196 (Hickory Withe Road) interchange. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
Wednesday, May 31 through Tuesday, June 6:  There are no scheduled closures.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-59
Tuesday, June 6 through Saturday, June 8: The railroad plans to close the roadway to work on a railroad crossing near Mason.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: Bridge Repair project on SR 100 over overflow. A signal system is being utilized. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Watch for flagmen.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on SR 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR 15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-I-40 from Mile Marker 46 (LM 2.86) to near Koko Road (LM 8.36):
Sunday, June 4 through Thursday, June 8, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from MM 46 to Koko Rd for removal of snowplowable markers, milling, and paving. Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH. Weather Permitting.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): A widening project on SR 19 from west of Windrow Road to SR 76 south of Brownsville will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY–SR-76: Construction of a concrete bulb tee beam bridge over the Hatchie River – Wednesday, May 3, 2017 SR 76 will CLOSE at log mile 8.98 (approx. 1 mile south of the
 I-40/Exit 56 interchange) for removal of the truss bridge.
 
*Local traffic will have access up to the bridge. An interstate detour will be posted at Exit 56 and Exit 52 (Stanton/KoKo Road).

HENDERSON COUNTY–I-40:
Sunday, June 4 through Thursday, June 8, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from Madison County Line to East of SR-104 for removal of snowplowable markers, milling, and paving. Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH. Weather Permitting

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21:  The construction of a concrete I-Beam bridge on SR 21 over Branch Creek, including grading, drainage, and paving.  Beginning Monday, September 12, 2016, SR 21 was closed to thru traffic until approximately September 30, 2017. Detour route posted.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: The construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch LM 16.51 including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE, SR-3: Resurfacing will cause possible lane closures from SR 19 (Lake Drive) to near New Wilson Road.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-138: Construction of 2 concrete box bridges on SR 138 over Muddy Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, May 30 through Tuesday, October 31 a signal system will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-197: Construction of 2 concrete I-beam bridges, grading, drainage and paving at LM 8.56 and 8.66. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Watch for flagmen.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-117: Bridge Repair project on SR 117 over Snake Creek at LM 4.73. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Watch for flagmen.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
*Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project.
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, May 30, SR-3 will have a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ 8” lane restriction.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, May 31, through Wednesday, June 7: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts on I-40 east and westbound.  Beginning December 5, 2014, there are transitions south and northbound on Canada Road.

Wednesday, May 31, through mid summer: The I-40 westbound exit ramp to Canada Rd. (MM-20.0) will be CLOSED for permanent ramp reconstruction. Detour route to be posted. 

LOOK AHEAD:

Wednesday, June 7, through Friday, June 9, 9:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: I-40 eastbound traffic will have alternating lane closures for removing and shifting barrier rails.

Wednesday, June 14, through Friday, June 16, 9:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: I-40 westbound traffic will have alternating lane closures for removing and shifting barrier rails.

SHELBY COUNTY –Maintenance to ITS Equipment:

Tuesday, June 6 and Wednesday, June 7, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT lane closures with one lane to remain open on I-40 eastbound at (MM-Arkansas 284) on the Mississippi River Bridge to Tennessee/Arkansas state line  for performing unscheduled and scheduled maintenance on SmartWay cameras. There will also be INTERMITTENT lane closures with one lane to remain open on I-40 eastbound at (MM-Tennessee 0.2) on the Mississippi River Bridge to Tennessee/Arkansas state line. This lane closure will be installed after the right lane is complete and pulled up. * Thursday, June 8, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m. will serve as a backup date.   Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTYSoil Test Borings at the intersection of I-240 and Airways Blvd.
Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, June 2, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures on I-240 eastbound between MM 22.6 and MM 24.2 for soil test borings.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 from near Horn Lake Road (LM 8.00 L&R) to McLemore Road (LM 11.00 L&R)
 
Tuesday, May 30 through Thursday, June 1, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on I-55 north and southbound (MM 8.00 to MM 11.00) to allow for resurfacing. Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-3:
Thursday, May 18, 7:00 a. m. through Friday, June 9, 5:00 p.m.: There will be lane closures on US-51 (SR-3) north and/or southbound one lane in each direction will remain open. Bridge improvements on Fite Road from SR-3 (US-51) to Woodstock Blvd.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from

SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project.

On April 21, 2017, Old Covington Pike East access to/from SR 14 was permanently CLOSED.

*Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

Wednesday, May 31 through Wednesday, June 7, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m. (excluding Friday and Saturday): There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail and concrete barrier wall. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, east & westbound (MM 1.0 to MM 32.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-240, Shelby County, east & westbound, south & northbound (MM 1.0 to MM 30.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-55, Shelby County, north & southbound (MM 0.0 to MM 12.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, north & southbound, east and westbound (MM 2.0 to MM 49.0), one lane will remain open.

  • SR-203, Hardin County, east and westbound (LM 3.5 to 15.86).
  • SR-15, Hardeman County, east and westbound (LM 14.59 to 14.91).
  • SR-5, Chester County, northbound at LM 8.17.
  • SR-20, Madison County, east and westbound (LM 20.72 to 21.63).
  • SR-152, Madison County, northbound at LM 7.89.
  • SR-186, Madison County, northbound (LM 3.30 to LM 3.73).
