BENTON COUNTY, I-40 Truck Climbing Lane
Wednesday, June 7 through Wednesday, June 14: There are no scheduled closures. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone.
*Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH.

BENTON COUNTY, SR-69 (US-641): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Decatur County line to near James Walker Road.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-1 (US-70): Bridge repair project on SR 1 over overflow LM 31.17.
Tuesday, April 25 through Tuesday, October 31, 2017, a signal system is being utilized. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Watch for flagmen.​
Restrictions: On Tuesday, April 25, 2017, a signal system was put into place. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424: Construction of a concrete bulb-tee beam bridge on SR 424 over Roan Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways. Restrictions: Beginning Thursday, January 19, 2017, a signal system was put into place. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-436: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from near the north end of the Old Obion River bed bridge to SR 76.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete bulb-tee bridge and paving on I-40 at the SR 196 (Hickory Withe Road) interchange. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.
Wednesday, June 14 through Wednesday, June 21:  There are no scheduled closures.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-196: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Poplar Acres Road to SR 193. Motorist should watch for flagmen.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-57: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Fayette County line to Saulsbury Road. Motorist should watch for flagmen.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: Bridge Repair project on SR 100 over overflow A signal system is being utilized. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Watch for flagmen.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on SR 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114: A bridge repair project on the Clifton bridge over the Tennessee River  will result in lane shifts and narrowed lanes throughout the project.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR 15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-I-40 from Mile Marker 46 (LM 2.86) to near Koko Road (LM 8.36): Sunday, June 18 through Thursday, June 22, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from MM 46 to Koko Rd for milling and paving operations. Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH. Weather Permitting.

HAYWOOD COUNTY-SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): A widening project on SR 19 from west of Windrow Road to SR 76 south of Brownsville will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY–SR-76: Construction of a concrete bulb tee beam bridge over the Hatchie River–Wednesday, May 3, 2017 SR 76 will CLOSE at log mile 8.98 (approx. 1 mile south of the  I-40/Exit 56 interchange) for removal of the truss bridge.

*Local traffic will have access up to the bridge. An interstate detour will be posted at Exit 56 and Exit 52 (Stanton/KoKo Road).

HENDERSON COUNTY–I-40:
Sunday, June 18 through Thursday, June 22, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be lane closures on I-40 east and westbound from Madison County Line to East of SR-104 for milling and paving operations. Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH. Weather Permitting

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21:  The construction of a concrete I-Beam bridge on SR 21 over Branch Creek, including grading, drainage, and paving.  Beginning Monday, September 12, 2016, SR 21 was closed to thru traffic until approximately September 30, 2017. Detour route posted.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: The construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch LM 16.51 including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE, SR-3: Resurfacing work will cause possible lane closures from SR 19 (Lake Drive) to near New Wilson Road.

MADISON COUNTY, I-40
Thursday, June 15 9:00 a. m.-2:00 p. m.: There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound at MM 87.4 on the inside lane for the cleanup of a diesel spill in the median.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-138: Construction of 2 concrete box bridges on SR 138 over Muddy Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, May 30 through Tuesday, October 31 a signal system will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction. Sanderson Road will be closed to through traffic.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
*Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The inside southbound lane on SR 3 is closed to all traffic for installation of barrier rail.​
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, June 13, SR 3 will have a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ 8” lane restriction.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, June 14 through Wednesday, June 21: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts on I-40 east and westbound. Beginning December 5, 2014, there are transitions south and northbound on Canada Road.

Wednesday, June 14 through mid summer: The I-40 westbound exit ramp to Canada Rd. (MM 20.0) will be CLOSED for permanent ramp reconstruction. Detour route to be posted. 

Friday, June 16, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: I-40 eastbound traffic will have alternating lane closures for removing and shifting barrier rails.

Monday, June 26 through Thursday, June 29, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.:
Temporary lane closures on Canada Rd. at Davie's Plantation for MLGW waterline installation.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge Over the Wolf River (LM 9.42)
Friday, June 16, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, June 19, 6:00 a. m.: There will be lanes closures with two lanes to remain open on I-40 westbound (MM 9.42) to allow for repairs to the expansion joint. Speed limit is reduced to 55 MPH. THP will assist with traffic control.*Friday, June 23, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, June 26, 6:00 a. m. will serve as a backup date. Weather Permitting.

*On SR 14 the Ramp from southbound Old Austin Peay Highway to southbound SR 14 Ramp will be closed. A detour will be provided.

Saturday, June 17, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: CLOSE the Jackson Avenue Exit ramp on I-40 westbound going to SR-14 northbound for paving. *Sunday, June 18, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m. will serve as a backup date. Weather Permitting.

Sunday, June 18, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: CLOSE the “On” ramp from SR-14 southbound going to I-40 westbound for paving. *Monday, June 19, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m. will serve as a backup date. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTYPaving/Infrared Repair
Thursday, June 15, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 177 between (MM 10.00 to MM 10.30) for infrared repair at multiple locations and at the ramp. The locations for the closures will be switched as repairs are completed. *Friday, June 16, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m. will serve as backup date. Weather Permitting.

Monday, June 19 and Tuesday, June 20, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 177 between (MM 10.00 to MM 10.30) for infrared repair at multiple locations and at the ramp. The locations for the closures will be switched as repairs are completed. *Wednesday, June 21, and Thursday, June 22, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m. will serve as backup dates. Weather Permitting

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 from near Horn Lake Road (LM 8.00 L&R) to McLemore Road (LM 11.00 L&R)
 
Sunday, June 18 through Thursday, June 22, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on I-55 north and southbound (MM 8.00 to MM 11.00) to allow for resurfacing. Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on I-55 north and southbound (MM 8.00 to MM 11.00) to allow for resurfacing. Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-3:
Monday, June 19, 7:00 a. m. through Friday, June 24, 5:00 p.m.: There will be lane closures on US-51 (SR-3) north and/or southbound one lane in each direction will remain open. Bridge improvements on Fite Road from SR-3 (US-51) to Woodstock Blvd.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project.
On April 21, 2017, Old Covington Pike East access to/from SR 14 was permanently CLOSED.

*Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385 over I-240: Bridge Repair project will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.​
Wednesday, June 14 through Wednesday, June 21: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, June 14 through Wednesday, June 21, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.

TDOT REGION 4: On-Call pavement markings
 
Wednesday, June 14 through Friday, June 23, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be lane closures at the following locations in Shelby Co. for the replacement of snowplowable pavement markers and restriping. There will be a “rolling lane closure” in effect. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

  • SR-177, Shelby County, north and southbound from LM 4.83 (end Wolf River Bridge) to LM 13.11 (SR 1/US 70)

  • I-240, eastbound I-40/240 Sam Cooper LM 17.95/(18.47 to LM\\ 18.71). Exit 12B & 12C, one lane will remain open.
  • I-240, eastbound I-40/240 Sam Cooper LM (18.71 to LM 19.17)/19.43, one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, eastbound I-40/240 Sam Cooper LM (12.23 to LM 12.68 to LM 13.18), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, westbound I-40/240 Sam Cooper LM (14.43 to LM 14.94)/15.19, one lane will remain open.
  • I-55, southbound Crump-Riverside Dr. LM 11.91 to LM 11.76, one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4: On-Call Guardrail Repair/Concrete Barrier Rail Repair (Nighttime):
Wednesday, June 14 through Wednesday, June 21, (excluding Friday & Saturday), 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Madison, Henderson, Carroll, and Decatur Counties, east and westbound (MM 67.00 to MM 127.0), one lane will remain open

TIPTON, SR-179: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures, in both directions daily, from SR 54 to SR 14.
