Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Williamson County I-65 Widening Project Set for June 15

Franklin, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner John Schroer will join state and local officials on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, to celebrate the completion of the widening project on Interstate 65 from State Route 840 to State Route 248 (Peytonsville Road/Goose Creek Bypass) in Williamson County.

The $50 million project includes widening I-65 from two to four lanes in each direction, a new 10-lane bridge over I-65 to replace the old Peytonsville Road two-lane bridge, and widening Goose Creek Bypass from two lanes to four lanes.

Wednesday’s event begins at 2:00 p.m. CDT and will last approximately 30 minutes.
