Monday, May 23 & Tuesday, May 24, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be temporary lane closures eastbound & westbound on I-40 over the Tennessee River for routine bridge inspection. One lane will remain open. These closures will not be simultaneous.

CHESTER COUNTY, SR-22A: Safety Improvements: Guardrail Terminal Installation​
Monday, May 16 through Saturday, May 21: There will be temporary one-lane closures northbound and southbound beginning at State Route 100 log mile 11.9 to the Chester County Line log mile 14.95.

DYER COUNTY, I-155: Bridge Repair project on I-155 over the Mississippi River​
Thursday, July 23, 2015 through Wednesday, August 31, 2016: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-155 over the Mississippi River Bridge, for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 14’ 10.5” lane restriction. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 6.5.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 11.7 and log mile 24.68.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 12.36.

DYER COUNTY, SR-78: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 13.58.

DYER COUNTY, SR-211: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 4.0 and log mile 8.87.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222: A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: Longitudinal Joint Stabilization will cause temporary lane closures from W. Main St. log mile 0.00 to E. Main St. log mile 1.68.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-22: There will be temporary lane closures northbound on State Route 22 between mile marker 6.05 and 6.50 for guardrail repair.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations on State Route 57 in Counce to bore multiple crossing in preparation of crossing signal installations

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on State Route 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR-15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: Safety Improvements: Guardrail Installation

Monday, May 16, through Saturday, May 21: There will be temporary one-lane closures northbound and southbound for the entire length of the project on State Route 128, from State Route 226 (Airport Road) log mile 6.54 to south of One Stop Drive log mile 8.70.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140: Bridge Repair project on State Route 140 over Mill Creek at log mile 23.03 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10’ lane restriction.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on State Route 218 from State Route 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (State Route 54). On Friday

May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: Bridge Repair project on State Route 21 over Reelfoot Spillway at log mile 7.61 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3: Longitudinal Joint Stabilization will cause temporary lane closures from the TDOT Lauderdale Maintenance shop log mile 5.04 to log mile 9.13.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-88: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 180 log mile 19.04 to the Crockett County line log mile 22.93.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5: Monday, February 29 through Sunday, May 29, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.:  There will be possible lane closures northbound (right lane) and southbound (right lane) on State Route 5 near the railroad bridge at Three Way to build a gas line. Two lanes will remain open in both directions.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-18: Construction of a concrete box bridge on State Route 18 over Meridian Creek log mile 4.70 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. A temporary signal will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ lane restriction.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-197: Construction of 2 concrete I-beam bridges, grading, drainage and paving Beginning Friday April 15, 2016 through Wednesday, May 31, 2017: There will be lane a closure on State Route 197, just east of Beech Bluff Rd. over branch at log miles 8.56-8.7 for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-3: There will be a night time “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 30.42.

OBION COUNTY, SR-5: There will be a night time ”rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 15.58.

OBION COUNTY, SR-22: There will be a “rolling roadblock” for relensing of snowplowable pavement markers between log mile 0.0 and log mile 26.80.

OBION COUNTY, SR-89: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Dyer County line log mile 0.00 to the Gibson County line log mile 8.48.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, May 18 through Wednesday, May 25: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts eastbound and westbound on I-40. Beginning December 05, 2014, there are transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road.

Wednesday, May 18 & Thursday, May 19, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: I-40 east and westbound will have nightly lane closures from Davies Plantation (log mile 22.98) to Sycamore View (log mile 15.54) for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open.

*Sunday, May 22 through Thursday, May 26 will serve as backup dates.

Saturday, May 21, 3:00 a. m. through Monday, May 23, 5:00 a. m: I-40 East “On” and “Off” ramps at Germantown Parkway will be CLOSED for full depth saw cutting of joints and concrete replacement. Right Lane of Northbound Germantown Road adjacent to the Eastbound “On” Ramp to I-40 will be intermittently CLOSED for concrete repair.

Sunday, May 22 through Tuesday, May 24, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: I-40 east and westbound will have nightly lane closures from Davies Plantation (log mile 22.98) to Sycamore View (log mile 15.54) for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open.

*Sunday, June 5 through Thursday, June 9, will serve as backup dates.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:

Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)

I-240: There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.

I-40 WB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane Sam Cooper, 1 lane I-240W, 1 lane I-40W/new flyover)

I-40 EB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane I-240E to I-40E, 1 lane I-40E (new flyover) 1 lane Sam Cooper

I-240 EB ramp has 1 lane open.

I-240 EB to I-40 WB has the left lane closed.

Summer Ave. Exit:  The Summer Ave. exit from I-40 WB will remain closed until completion of Wolf River Bridge.  Motorist must exit off I-40 WB at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.

Covington Pike is one lane in each direction at the I-40 Interchange.

Summer Ave. exit (Exit 12A) from I-40W will temporarily close for 3-4 weeks

   Friday night, May 20 at 8:00 p.m. through Monday morning, May 23 at 6:00 a.m.

INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-40 eastbound / I-240 westbound from west of Covington Pike interchange to I-240 westbound to allow for asphalt milling and repaving construction operations. One lane will remain open at all times.

* Friday night, June 3 at 8:00 p.m. through Monday morning, June 6 at 6:00 a.m. will serve as backup weekend.

   Saturday, May 21 from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

CLOSE the outside lane of westbound I-40 beginning at the Covington Pike exit ramp (Exit 10) extending to LM-9.8 and CLOSE the westbound I-40 entrance ramp from Covington Pike to allow for the relocation of traffic onto the temporary entrance ramp.

*Sunday, May 22 and Saturday, June 4 will serve as backup dates.

   Friday night, June 3 at 8:00 p.m. through Monday morning, June 6 at 6:00 a.m.

INTERMITTENT double lane closures on eastbound I-40/westbound I-240 from LM-9.4 extending to westbound I-240 LM-11.8 to allow for asphalt milling and repaving construction operations.

Wednesday, May 18, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: I-240 Eastbound and Westbound will have nightly lane closures from East of Perkins (LM-12.33) to East of SR-385 (LM-14.85) for Longitudinal Joint Sealing operations. One lane will remain open.

*Monday May 23, will serve as backup date.

Thursday, May 19, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m: I- 240 Northbound and Southbound will have nightly lane closures from I-40 Junction (LM-0.00) near Jackson Avenue Exit 32 to I-240/I-55 Junction (LM-5.70) near Elvis Presley Blvd. One lane will remain open. *Tuesday, May 24, will serve as backup date.

Tuesday May 24 & Wednesday May 25 &, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.: There will be a partial ramp closure at the following locations, traffic will be shifted to one side, for asbestos sampling. The contractor will be working the westbound ramps in the morning and the eastbound ramps after rush hour.

• Single lane Ramp from Riverside Drive Northbound lane to I-40 Eastbound.
• Two lane Ramp exiting I-40 Eastbound terminating at North Front St.

• Ramp starting at intersection of North Front Street and Jackson Avenue two lanes merging with I-40 Westbound lane.
• Single lane Ramp starting at Riverside Drive Northbound lane and merges with 70I00400145 (Green Ramp) that merges with I-40 Westbound lane.
• Single lane Ramp splits off from Ramp 70I00400143 (Orange Ramp) which connects I-40 Eastbound to N Front Street and splits off to Southbound Riverside Drive.

Tuesday, May 24 & Wednesday, May 25, 8:00 a. m.-4:30 p. m.: The outside right two lanes of I-40 Westbound over the Mississippi River Bridge will be closed in order to repair lights on the bridge. Weather Permitting.

Thursday, May 26 & Friday, May 27, 9:00 a. m.-4:30 p. m.: The outside right two lanes of I-40 Eastbound over the Mississippi River Bridge will be closed in order to repair lights on the bridge. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY:  Annual Preventative and Unscheduled Maintenance of the Memphis I. T. S. System Equipment, including the TMC

Tuesday, May 24 & Wednesday, May 25, & (Thursday, May 26, back-update) 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be temporary day time lane closures at the following location, for the purpose of installing new wireless equipment. Weather Permitting.

• I-55, Shelby County eastbound (mile marker 11.6 to mile marker 11.2) on the Mississippi River Bridge, one lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Kentucky Street to State Route 4. The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on State Route 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-51 (State Route 3) to US-70 (State Route 1). The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Bridge Repair on State Route 14 over overflows log mile 26.28, 26.58 & 26.74, Loosahatchie River log mile 26.90 and overflow log mile 27.25 will result in lane shifts every day. Beginning Monday, February 22, 9:00 a. m. until Thursday, June 30, there will be a temporary signal utilized with a 11’ 6” width restriction at log mile 26.74.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on State Route 14 for a widening project from State Route 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. April 27, 2015 through May 11, 2016, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a. m. there will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until June 2016.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Longitudinal Joint Stabilization will cause temporary lane closures from the ramp at I-40 log mile 20.04 to north of State Route 204 log mile 23.51.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72): Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project to completed punch list items.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Grade, drain, and pave on State Route 175 (Byhalia Road) from south of Shelby Post Road to south of State Route 385 will cause possible lane closure.
Monday, May 16: Traffic shifts will be implemented for the motoring public traveling southbound on Byhalia Road and eastbound on Shelby East.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Safety Improvements using High Friction Surface Treatment

Wednesday, May 18, 8:00 p. m. through Thursday, May 19, 6:00 a. m.: There will temporary lane closures on SR-57 (Poplar Ave.) (LM 8.01-8.75) eastbound over I-240 and approaching Ridgeway Loop Road for the replacement of Snow Plowable Marker lenses and the application of Thermoplastic turn arrows and stop bars approaching Ridgeway Loop Road. Only 1 lane will be closed at a time, and rolling lane closures will be utilized when possible.

Thursday, May 19, 8:00 p. m. through Friday, May 20, 6:00 a.m.: This will serve as a makeup day in the case of rain for State Route 57 (Poplar Ave.) (log mile 8.01-8.75) over I-240 and approaching Ridgeway Loop Road.

Friday, May 20, 8:00 p. m. through Saturday, May 21, 6:00 a.m.: This will serve as a makeup day in the case of rain for SR-57 (Poplar Ave.) (log mile 8.01-8.75) over I-240 and approaching Ridgeway Loop Road.

Sunday, May 22 through Thursday, May 26, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m. (excluding Friday & Saturday nights): There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

• I-40, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (mile marker 1.0 to mile marker 32.0), one lane will remain open.
• I-240, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound, southbound & northbound (mile marker 1.0 to mile marker 30.0), one lane will remain open.
• I-55, Shelby County, northbound & southbound (mile marker 1.0 to mile marker 12.0), one lane will remain open.
• SR-385, Shelby County, northbound & southbound, eastbound & westbound (mile marker 1.0 to mile marker 49.0), one lane will remain open.

Wednesday, May 18 through Wednesday, May 25, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-3: Wednesday, May 11 through Sunday, July 31, 2016: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line log mile 0.00 to Woodlawn Avenue log mile 9.60.

TIPTON and HAYWOOD COUNTIES, SR-54: Wednesday, April 27 through Wednesday, May 4: Bridge Repair on State Route 54 over Hatchie River at log mile 9.60. A signal system will be utilized. On July 6, 2015, State Route 54 over Hatchie River, traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 2” lane restriction. Eastbound lane is now closed to traffic for expansion joint repair and installation of steel reinforcements.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: Bridge Repair project on State Route 22 at the Old Salem Road log mile 22.76 and Terrell Road log mile 28.85 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22: Longitudinal Joint Stabilization will cause temporary lane closures from the Henry County Line log mile 0.00 to the Junction of SR-217 log mile 10.30.
