DYER COUNTY, I-155: Bridge Repair project on I-155 over the Mississippi River
Thursday, July 23, 2015 through Wednesday, August 31, 2016: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-155 over the Mississippi River Bridge, for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 14’ 10.5” lane restriction. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222: A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-22: There will be temporary lane closures northbound on State Route 22 between mile marker 6.05 and 6.50 for guardrail repair.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations on State Route 57 in Counce to bore multiple crossing in preparation of crossing signal installations

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on State Route 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR-15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140: Bridge Repair project on State Route 140 over Mill Creek at log mile 23.03 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10’ lane restriction.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on State Route 218 from State Route 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (State Route 54). On Friday May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: Bridge Repair project on State Route 21 over Reelfoot Spillway at log mile 7.61 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5: Monday, February 29 through Sunday, May 29, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.:  There will be possible lane closures northbound (right lane) and southbound (right lane) on State Route 5 near the railroad bridge at Three Way to build a gas line. Two lanes will remain open in both directions.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-197: Construction of 2 concrete I-beam bridges, grading, drainage and paving

Beginning Thursday April 15, 2016 through Wednesday, May 31, 2017: There will be lane closures  on State Route 197, just east of Beech Bluff Rd. over branch at log miles 8.56-8.7 for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-21: Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1: There will be a temporary lane closure with a 12’ width restriction for the installation of a new flashing school zone speed limit signs at Black Oak Elementary School.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 repair of bridge over the Mississippi River Wednesday, April 6 through Wednesday, April 13: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, April 6 through Wednesday, April 13: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts eastbound and westbound on I-40. Beginning December 05, 2014, there are transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing on from west of Sycamore View (L.M. 15.54) to west of Davies Plantation Road (LM-22.98)
Sunday, April 3 through Thursday, April 7, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: I-40 east and westbound will have nightly lane closures from Davies Plantation (LM-22.98) to Sycamore View log mile 15.54. One lane will remain open.​
*Sunday, April 10 through Thursday, April 14 will serve as backup dates.

Saturday, April 9 at 6:00 a.m. through Monday, April 11, 5:00 a. m.: I-40 westbound at Whitten Road (Exit 14) entrance and exit ramps will be closed for concrete repairs.​ 
*Saturday, April 16 through Monday, April 18 will serve as backup dates.

Sunday, April 10 through Thursday, April 14, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: I-40 east and westbound will have nightly lane closures from Davies Plantation (LM-22.98) to Sycamore View log mile 15.54. One lane will remain open.
*Sunday, April 17 through Thursday, April 21 will serve as backup dates

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:
Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.
Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)
I-240: There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.
I-40 WB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge. (1 lane Sam Cooper, 1 lane I-240W, 1 lane I-40W/new flyover)​
I-40 EB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge. (1 lane I-240E to I-40E, 1 lane I-40E (new flyover) 1 lane Sam Cooper
I-240 EB ramp has 1 lane open.
I-240 EB to I-40 WB has the left lane closed.
Summer Ave. Exit:  The Summer Ave. exit from I-40 WB will remain closed until completion of Wolf River Bridge.  Motorist must exit off I-40 WB at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.
Covington Pike is one lane in each direction at the I-40 Interchange.

Wednesday, April 13, 9:00 a. m.:
CLOSE
the left turn lane from Summer Ave. EB to the I-40 WB on ramp to allow for median reconstruction on said ramp. The closure will remain in place until completion of work (3-4 weeks). The right lane will remain open.

Saturday, April 16, 8:00 a. m.-6:00 p. m.:

one inside lane of eastbound and westbound I-40 from the Wolf River extending to east of Sycamore View to allow for placement and relocation of barrier rail for median reconstruction.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Kentucky Street to State Route 4. The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-51 (State Route 3) to US-70 (State Route 1). The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Bridge Repair on State Route 14 over overflows log mile 26.28, 26.58 & 26.74, Loosahatchie River log mile 26.90 and overflow log mile 27.25 will result in lane shifts every day. Beginning Monday, February 22, 9:00 a. m. until Saturday, April 30, there will be a temporary signal utilized with a 11’ 6” width restriction at log mile 26.74.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on State Route 14 for a widening project from State Route 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. April 27, 2015 through May 11, 2016, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a. m. there will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until June 2016.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72): Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project to completed punch list items.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Grade, drain, and pave on State Route 175 (Byhalia Road) from south of Shelby Post Road to south of State Route 385 will cause possible lane closure.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Friday, March 18, 6:00 p. m. through Sunday, March 20, 10:00 p. m.: The railroad crossing at State Route 175 (Shelby Drive) and Tuggle will be CLOSED for repairs.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385: Safety Improvements using High Friction Surface Treatment
Friday, April 8, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, April 10, 6:00 a. m.: There will be a temporary lane closure on the inside lane eastbound on SR-385 just west of the bridge over Nonconnah Creek to east of the overpass over Winchester Road. Two (2) lanes will remain open. In addition to this lane closure the eastbound exit ramp to Winchester Rd. will also be closed. Traffic will be detoured east on SR-385 to Hacks Cross Road where they will be detoured back to westbound SR-385 where they can exit to Winchester Road.

Friday, April 8, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, April 10, 6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on the outside two (2) lanes westbound on SR-385 from east of the overpass over Winchester Road to the bridge over Nonconnah Creek. One (1) lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4 Retracing of Pavement Marking with Spraythermo
Wednesday, April 06 & Thursday, April 07, AND Sunday, April 10 & Monday, April 11, 8:00
 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:
There will be temporary night time “rolling roadblocks“ at the following locations for the retracing of lane lines and pavement markings. Weather Permitting.

  • SR-186 (US-45BYP), Madison County, northbound & southbound from LM 0.00 (SR-1/Airways Blvd) to LM 3.24 (begin median wall south of I-40), at least one lane will remain open.
  • SR-186 (US-45BYP), Madison County, northbound & southbound from LM-4.55 (Channing Way) to LM 7.11 (Ashport Rd.) in Jackson, at least one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair Wednesday, April 6 through Wednesday, April 13: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, April 6 through Wednesday, April 13, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

TIPTON and HAYWOOD COUNTIES, SR-54: Thursday, March 24, through Thursday, March 31: Bridge Repair on State Route 54 over Hatchie River at log mile 9.60. A signal system will be utilized. On July 6, 2015, State Route 54 over Hatchie River, traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 2” lane restriction. Eastbound lane is now closed to traffic for expansion joint repair and installation of steel reinforcements.
