DYER COUNTY, I-155: Bridge Repair project on I-155 over the Mississippi River

Thursday, July 23, 2015 through Wednesday, August 31, 2016: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-155 over the Mississippi River Bridge, for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 14’ 10.5” lane restriction. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222: A grading project on State Route 222 from north of

I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-22: There will be temporary lane closures northbound on State Route 22 between mile marker 6.05 and 6.50 for guardrail repair.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations on State Route 57 in Counce to bore multiple crossing in preparation of crossing signal installations

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on State Route 128 from South of Opel Loop to

US-64 (SR-15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HENRY COUNTY, SR 76: April 25 through May 9: There will be temporary lane closures between log mile 4.5-5.5. The closure is for the construction of a turn lane, median crossover, and driveway connection.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140: Bridge Repair project on State Route 140 over Mill Creek at log mile 23.03 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10’ lane restriction.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on State Route 218 from State Route 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (State Route 54). On Friday

May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: Bridge Repair project on State Route 21 over Reelfoot Spillway at log mile 7.61 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-88: Tuesday, April 26 through Friday, April 29: The railroad crossing will be closed near Gates at log mile 19.13. Detour route will be posted.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5: Monday, February 29 through Sunday, May 29, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.:  There will be possible lane closures northbound (right lane) and southbound (right lane) on State Route 5 near the railroad bridge at Three Way to build a gas line. Two lanes will remain open in both directions.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-197: Construction of 2 concrete I-beam bridges, grading, drainage and paving

Beginning Friday April 15, 2016 through Wednesday, May 31, 2017: There will be lane closures  on State Route 197, just east of Beech Bluff Rd. over branch at log miles 8.56-8.7 for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-89: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Dyer County line log mile 0.00 to the Gibson County line log mile 8.48.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road

Wednesday, April 20 through Wednesday, April 27: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts eastbound and westbound on I-40. Beginning December 05, 2014, there are transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:

Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)

I-240: There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.

I-40 WB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane Sam Cooper, 1 lane I-240W, 1 lane I-40W/new flyover)

I-40 EB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane I-240E to I-40E, 1 lane I-40E (new flyover) 1 lane Sam Cooper

I-240 EB ramp has 1 lane open.

I-240 EB to I-40 WB has the left lane closed.

Summer Ave. Exit:  The Summer Ave. exit from I-40 WB will remain closed until completion of Wolf River Bridge.  Motorist must exit off I-40 WB at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.

Covington Pike is one lane in each direction at the I-40 Interchange.

Summer Ave. exit (Exit 12A) from I-40W will temporarily close for 3-4 weeks beginning Saturday, April 2nd

LOOK AHEAD:

Saturday, April 30, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

CLOSE the outside lane of westbound I-40 and the Covington Pike exit ramp (Exit 10) to allow for the relocation of traffic onto the temporary exit ramp.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing on from west of Sycamore View (L.M. 15.54) to west of Davies Plantation Road (LM-22.98)

Wednesday, April 20 & Thursday, April 21, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: I-40 east and westbound will have nightly lane closures from Davies Plantation (LM-22.98) to Sycamore View (LM-15.54) for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open.

*Sunday, April 24 through Thursday, April 28 will serve as backup dates.

Saturday, April 23, 6:00 a. m. through Monday, April 25, 5:00 a. m.: Northbound Germantown Rd. Exit Ramp to I-40 Eastbound will be closed for concrete repairs.

*Saturday, May 7 through Monday, May 9 will serve as backup dates.

Friday, April 22, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, April 25, 5:00 a. m.: I-40 westbound at Whitten Road (Exit 14) entrance and exit ramps will be closed for concrete repairs.

*Friday, May 6 through Monday, May 9 will serve as backup dates.

Sunday, April 24 through Tuesday, April 26, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: I-40 east and westbound will have nightly lane closures from Davies Plantation (LM 22.98) to Sycamore View (L.M. 15.54) for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open.

*Sunday, May 1 through Tuesday, May 3 will serve as backup dates.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Kentucky Street to State Route 4. The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-51 (State Route 3) to US-70 (State Route 1). The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Bridge Repair on State Route 14 over overflows log mile 26.28, 26.58 & 26.74, Loosahatchie River log mile 26.90 and overflow log mile 27.25 will result in lane shifts every day. Beginning Monday, February 22, 9:00 a. m. until Saturday, April 30, there will be a temporary signal utilized with a 11’ 6” width restriction at log mile 26.74.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on State Route 14 for a widening project from State Route 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. April 27, 2015 through May 11, 2016, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a. m. there will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until June 2016.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72): Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project to completed punch list items.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Grade, drain, and pave on State Route 175 (Byhalia Road) from south of Shelby Post Road to south of State Route 385 will cause possible lane closure.

Friday, April 22, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, April 25, 6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on the right two (2) lanes eastbound on SR-385 just west of the overpass over Kirby Road (LM-2.00) to just east of the on ramp from Kirby Rd. to SR-385 Eastbound (LM-2.9). One (1) lane will remain open. In addition to these lane closures, the on ramp from Kirby Road to SR-385 Eastbound will be closed. Traffic will be detoured from Kirby Road to SR-385 Westbound to Ridgeway Road were they will be detoured back to SR-385 Eastbound.

Friday, April 22, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, April 25, 6:00 a.m.: There will be temporary lane closures on the left two (2) lanes eastbound on SR-385 from just west of the overpass over Germantown Road (LM-4.1) to just east of the overpass over Winchester Road (LM-5.10). One (1) lane will remain open.

Friday, April 22, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, April 25, 6:00 a.m.:: There will be temporary lane closures on the right two (2) lanes westbound on SR-385 from just east of the of the overpass over Winchester Road (LM-5.25) to just west of the on ramp from Winchester Road to SR-385 Westbound (LM-4.3). One (1) lane will remain open. In addition to these lane closures, the on ramp from Winchester Road to SR-385 Westbound will be closed. Traffic will be detoured from Winchester Road to SR-385 Eastbound to Hacks Crossing Road where they will be detoured back to SR-385 Westbound.

Wednesday, April 20 through Wednesday, April 27: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair

Monday, April 25 through Thursday, April 28, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (MM 1.0 to MM 32.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-240, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound, southbound & northbound (MM 1.0 to MM 30.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound & southbound (MM 1.0 to MM 12.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, northbound & southbound, eastbound & westbound (MM 1.0 to MM 49.0), one lane will remain open.

TDOT MAINTENANCE: Wednesday, April 20 through Wednesday, April 27, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

TIPTON and HAYWOOD COUNTIES, SR-54: Wednesday, April 20 through Wednesday, April 27: Bridge Repair on State Route 54 over Hatchie River at log mile 9.60. A signal system will be utilized. On July 6, 2015, State Route 54 over Hatchie River, traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 2” lane restriction. Eastbound lane is now closed to traffic for expansion joint repair and installation of steel reinforcements.
