BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through June 2016, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
  • Tuesday April 26 through Thursday April 28, Midnight-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 eastbound at MM 190 in order to pour concrete bridge deck. 

CHEATHAM, DICKSON, and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, Installation of Emergency Reference Marker Signs

  • Tuesday April 26, 2016,  7PM-5AM, There will be left lane closures on I- 40 in both directions at various locations between MM 165 and MM 181 in Dickson county, MM 182 and MM 184 in Williamson County, and MM 190 and MM 192 in Cheatham County in order to install Emergency Reference Marker Signs.  A minimum of one lane will remain open in each direction. Friday April 28 and Saturday April 29 will be used as make-up days in the event of cancellation due to weather. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70 (SR 24) from West of Browns Creek Bridge to Briley Parkway

  • Thursday April 21 & Friday April 22, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating lane closures from Old Hickory Boulevard to River Road for milling operations.  One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Saturday April 23, 7AM–5PM, There will be alternating lane closures from Old Hickory Boulevard to River Road for milling operations.  One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Monday April 25 & Tuesday April 26, 8PM–5:30AM, There will be alternating lane closures from Old Hickory Boulevard to River Road for milling operations.  One lane will remain open at all times.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, On-Call Signing at Various Locations

  • Friday April 22, Monday April 25, Tuesday April 26 & Wednesday April 27, 9AM – 3PM, There will be a right shoulder closure on I-65 in both directions at MM 67 (McEwen Drive) to install sign footers.  All travel lanes will remain open.
  • Tuesday April 26 & Wednesday April 27, 9AM – 3PM, There will be a right shoulder closure on SR 155 (Briley Parkway) from MM 9.6 to MM 9.8 (Two Rivers area) in order to install signs and supports.  All travel lanes will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Repair at Various Locations

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 8PM – 6AM, (excluding the weekends) The ramp from I-24 eastbound from Clarksville to Briley Parkway Eastbound will be closed to allow sawing and sealing of the joints.  A detour will be in place. There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Parkway from MM 18 to MM 18.2. There will be one lane open on Briley Parkway at all times.
  • Saturday April 23, 3AM through Monday April 25, 6AM, The left lane of Briley Parkway eastbound from MM18 to MM18.2 will be closed to allow for removal and replacement of concrete.  One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing On I-65 From The Cumberland River Bridge To Trinity Lane, Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday April 21, 8PM–5AM, There will be a lane closure of the two left lanes on I-65 northbound from MM 87 (Trinity Lane) bridge to allow for lane shifting. Two lanes will remain open.
  • Friday April 22, 8PM through Monday April 25, 5AM, There will be lane closures of the three right lanes on I-65 northbound at MM 87 (Trinity Lane bridge) to allow for bridge deck repair and removal of traffic control devices.  The ramp from Trinity Lane to I-65 northbound will be closed and there will be temporary lane closures of both directions of Trinity Lane to allow for bridge deck repair demolition and forming work. Two lanes will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 6 Bridges at I-440/I-65 Interchange over US31 (SR 6, Franklin Pike)

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane shifts on ramps from I-440 eastbound to I-65 northbound and I-440 westbound to I-65 southbound to perform deck repairs, expansion joint repairs, and approach slab repairs. Restricted to 12ft lane widths.

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 in both directions between MM 94 (north of Vietnam Veterans Blvd) and MM110 (north of White House) for proofing, wire pulling and CCTV foundations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Removal and Replacement of HOV Signing and Thermoplastic Markings on I-65

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 northbound starting at MM 74 (Old Hickory Boulevard) to MM 80 (I-440) and I-65 ramps starting at MM 90 (Briley Parkway) to MM 95 (Vietnam Veterans) to install HOV signs.
  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a left shoulder closure on I-65 in both directions at MM 80 (Just south of I-440) to install HOV signage.

GILES COUNTY, Installation of Emergency Reference Marker Signs

  • Thursday April 28, 2016, 7PM-5AM, There will be left lane closures on I-65 in both directions at various locations between MM 12 and MM 14, MM 24 and MM 17, and MM 39 and MM 41 in Giles County in order to install Emergency Reference Marker Signs.  A minimum of one lane will remain open in each direction. Friday April 28 and Saturday April 29 will be used as make-up days in the event of cancellation due to weather.  

HICKMAN AND HUMPHREYS COUNTIES, Interchange Improvements on I-40 at SR 50

  • From now through November 2016, There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in Humphreys/Hickman County at MM 147.5 to 148.5 in order to extend the I-40 ramps at SR 50.

HICKMAN AND HUMPHREYS COUNTIES, Installation of Emergency Reference Marker Signs

  • Monday April 25, 2016, 7PM-5AM, There will be left lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound at various locations between MM 133.0- MM 137 in Benton and Humphreys Co, MM 141-MM 148 in Humphreys Co and MM 149- MM 150 and MM 157- MM 159 in Hickman County in order to install Emergency Reference Marker Signs.  A minimum of one lane will remain open in each direction. Friday April 28 and Saturday April 29 will be used as make-up days in the event of cancellation due to weather.     

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

MAURY COUNTY, Constructions of Turn Lane on US 412 (SR 99)

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 9AM to 3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 99 for widening operations.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Widening SR 112 (US 41A / Madison St.)

  • Thursday, April 21, 2016 through Wednesday, April 27, 9AM – 3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 112 (Madison St. / US-41A) in both directions just west of the intersection with SR 76. There will be alternating lane closures on SR 76 in both directions just south of the SR 112. The lane closures are required in order to locate underground utilities prior to directional boring. One lane will remain open in each direction of travel.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing I-24 from Stones River Bridge (MM 78.5) to East of the Bridge over CSX Railroad (MM 82)

  • Friday April 22 at 8PM through Monday April 25 at 5AM, There will be a ramp closure on I-24 westbound at exit ramp 81 (from I-24 westbound onto Church Street) for the removal and replacement of concrete pavement.  Advanced warning signs and a detour will be in place. 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on SIA Route Serving Nissan North America

  • From now through August 2016, Singer Road, from North Broad Street to the Nissan North America entrance, will be closed to through traffic.  This closure will remain in place until the project has been completed or until 8/31/16.  Local business access within the project limits will be provided.

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 80 over Peyton Creek

  • From now through November 2016, SR 80 will be reduced to one lane at the bridges over Peyton Creek (LM 5.75 and LM 7.00) near Sawmill Lane for bridge repair work. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on US 70N/SR 24 over Caney Fork River

  • From now through July 2016, The US 70N/SR 24 bridge over the Caney Fork River will be closed for construction. A signed detour is in place.

SMITH, SUMNER, and ROBERTSON COUNTIES, Installation of Emergency Reference Marker Signs

  • Wednesday April 27, 2016,  7PM-5AM, There will be left lane closures on I-40 in both directions at various locations between MM 255 and MM 267 in Smith County, and I-65 in both directions between MM 97 and MM 104 in Sumner County, and between MM 120 and MM 122 in Robertson County in order to install Emergency Reference Marker Signs.  A minimum of one lane will remain open in each direction. 

TROUSDALE COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 260 over Little Goose Creek

  • From now through July 2016, SR 260 will be closed at the bridge over Little Goose Creek (LM 5.58) for bridge repair work. Detours will be in place.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 9AM-3PM, Concord Road between Sunset Road and Nolensville Road will be reduced to one lane periodically for construction operations.  Traffic will be flagged at these times.
  • Friday April 22, 8PM through Monday April 25, 6AM, Concord Pass will be closed to allow for the construction of the Concord Pass re-alignment, where it ties into Concord Road.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends) , There will be a shoulder closure on SR 840 in both directions from the MM 28 (US 31) to MM 35 (Cool Springs Road) for bridge conduit installation and pull boxes.
  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends) , There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound from MM 76 (between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Place) through MM 56 (Between SR 840 and Peytonsville Road) to install conduit and pull boxes.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 31 (SR 6) at Miles Johnson Parkway in Spring Hill

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a temporary lane closure on State Route 6/US31 at Miles Johnson Parkway.  Traffic will be affected in the northbound lanes and then the southbound lanes while crews complete overhead work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will periodic lane closures on Peytonsville Road and Goose Creek Bypass between Long Lane and Lewisburg Pike to install traffic loops. There will also be rolling roadblocks for the NB and SB Ramps to install overhead structure spans.
  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 8PM to 5AM, (Excluding Weekends) There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions between MM 59 (SR 840) and MM 63 (north of Peytonsville Rd) for milling and paving operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Repair of the Bridges on SR 840 over Boston-Theta Road and Sycamore Creek

  • From now through August 31, 2016, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions on the bridges over Boston-Theta Rd (LM 13) to perform bridge repair operations.

WILSON COUNTY, On-Call Signing at Various Locations

  • Tuesday April 26 & Wednesday April 27, 9AM – 3PM, There will be a right shoulder closure on I-40 eastbound from MM 224.3 to MM 224.8 and along Exit 226 (SR 171/Mt Juliet) eastbound off ramp in order to install sign footer.  All travel lanes will remain open.

  • Thursday April 21 through Wednesday April 27, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for sweeping operations.  This will affect the shoulders, ramps, and inside/outside lanes.
  • Thursday April 26, 8PM–2AM OR Tuesday April 21, 8PM-2AM (weather permitting), There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound from MM 205.8 to 46th Avenue for milling and paving. Two lanes will remain open.
  • Thursday April 14, 8PM–2AM OR Tuesday April 19, 8PM-2AM (weather permitting), There will be lane closures on I-440 westbound near I-40 junction for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.
  • Wednesday April 27, 9AM-1PM, There will be a lane closure on Murfreesboro Rd. (SR 1) from Dell Pkwy. to McGavock Pike in order to perform roadway testing.
  • Wednesday April 20 through Friday April 22, 9AM–3PM and Monday April 25 through Tuesday April 26, 9AM–3PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 24 (Charlotte Pike) from MM 5.62 to MM 6.08 in both directions due to activities including road widening, median installation, and installation of sidewalks. One lane will remain open. Work is part of Overlook at Nashville West Development.

Dickson County

  • Thursday April 21, 7PM- 3AM (weather permitting), or (if rescheduled based on weather) Friday April 22, 7PM-3AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound at MM 163 (SR 48) for First Response Environmental Group to remove diesel fuel impacted soil from the right side and median and then remediate the project site.

Humphreys County

  • Tuesday April 26, 7PM through Wednesday April 27, 3AM, I-40 at MM 141 will have one lane closed Westbound for bridge joint repair operations.
  • Thursday April 28, 7PM through Friday April 29, 3AM, I-40 at MM141 will have one lane closed Westbound for bridge joint repair operations.

Williamson County

  • Monday April 25, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating left lane closures on I-65 in both directions between McEwen (MM 66.8) and Concord Rd (MM 71.8) for drain cleaning.

  • From now through Friday April 29, 9AM-3PM, (Excluding weekends), SR-24 (Lebanon Pike) Lane closures for NES to Replace existing poles and transfer service to new poles. North and south bound lanes around intersection of Danyacrest Drive.
  • Tuesday April 19 through Friday May 20, 9AM-3PM, NES needs lane closures to remove and replace multiple utility poles along the south side of SR-255 (Harding Pike) at intersection of Antioch Pike.
  • From now through Friday April 22, 9AM-3PM, (Excluding weekends), There will be lane closures in both directions on SR-254 (OHB) for NES to replace existing poles and transfer service to new poles. From Brentwood Commons Way to East of Oaks Drive.
  • From now through Friday April 22, (Excluding Weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR-11 (Dickerson Pike) Metro Water and Sewer placing 2-4” water services and attaching to an existing 6” water main around Evanston Avenue between Cleavend Street and Auction Way. 
  • From now through Friday April 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Old Hickory Blvd from 26th St to 22nd St. in the City of Lakewood. Metro Water and Sewer/SBW Constructors to lining the sewer main on OHB.
  • From now through Monday May 2, 11PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 11 (Dickerson Pike) northbound for NES to transfer services from existing pole to new.
  • From now through Friday April 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on Broadway St. (SR-1) between 1st and 2nd Ave. to set vehicle to excavation sidewalk.
  • From now through Friday April 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on Broadway St. (SR-1) between 3rd Ave and 4th Ave on north side for excavation of sidewalk.
  • From now through Friday April 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on Broadway (SR-1) between 8th Ave and 9th Ave, north side of roadway in front of Manuel Store for Crown Castle (AFG) to trench to NES manhole in Broadway Right turn lane.
  • From now through Friday April 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on Broadway St. (SR-1) between 8th Ave and 9th Ave, north side of roadway in front of Manuel Store to trench to NES manhole in Broadway Right turn lane.

Rutherford County

  • From now through Saturday April 30, 9AM to 5PM, There will be a temporary right lane closure on SR 1 westbound to facilitate the construction of a new right turn lane. One lane will remain open. Lane closures will be only as needed when work is adjacent to travel lane.
  • From now through Saturday April 30, 9AM to 5PM, There will be temporary left lane closures in both on SR 1 to facilitate the construction of a new left turn lane in the median. One lane will remain open each direction. Eastbound lane closures will not be in place after 4pm weekdays.  Lane closures will be only as needed when work is adjacent to travel lane.

Sumner County

  • Sunday April 24, 6AM-10AM, There will be a rolling roadblock on SR 109 at Long Hollow Pike (SR 386) for Comcast to overlash fiber optic cable across SR-109.
