BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)
From now through June 2016, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River
From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Slope Stabilization & Construction of a Graded Solid Rock Buttress On I-65 Northbound
Friday April 1, 12 Midnight thru Sunday April 3, 7AM, There will be a lane closure of the four right lanes on I-65 northbound from MM 91 to MM 92 to allow for blasting. Two lanes will remain open except at the time of blasting. During the actual blast time at 7 AM, all lanes of I-65 southbound will also be closed from MM 91 to MM 92. Two northbound lanes are expected to be open by 12 noon.  All southbound lanes will reopen after initial blast.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 From The Cumberland River Bridge (LM 10.45) to Trinity Lane (LM 11.74)

  • Thursday March 31, 8PM–5AM, There will be a lane closure of the two left lanes on I-65 northbound at the approach to the Trinity Lane exit and across the Trinity Lane bridge to allow for traffic control to be set up.
  • Friday April 1, 8PM–1AM, There will be alternating lane closures, with at least one lane open at all times, on I-65 northbound from the Trinity Lane exit and across the Trinity Lane bridge to allow for the chaining of the bridge & installation of weekend traffic control devices.  There will also be a temporary closure of the I-65 on ramp at Trinity lane during this time.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair At Various Locations

  • Wednesday March 30 & Thursday March 31, 8PM–6AM, The ramp from I-24 westbound to Briley Parkway (SR 155) Westbound will be closed to allow for saw cutting of deteriorated concrete. A detour will be in place for traffic heading to Briley westbound.
  • Saturday April 2, 3AM through Monday April 4, 6AM, The ramp from I-24 westbound to Briley Parkway westbound will be closed to allow for the replacement of deteriorated concrete.  A detour will be in place for traffic heading to Briley West.
  • Monday April 4 through Wednesday April 6, 8PM–6AM, There will be alternating lane closures of the ramps from I-24 in both directions to Briley Parkway in both directions to allow for saw cutting of deteriorated concrete.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 6 Bridges at I-440/I-65 Interchange over US31 (SR 6, Franklin Pike)
Thursday March 31 through Friday April 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane shifts on ramps from I-440 eastbound to I-65 northbound and I-440 westbound to I-65 southbound to perform deck repairs, expansion joint repairs, and approach slab repairs. Restricted to 12ft lane widths.

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be shoulder closures on I-65 in both directions between MM 94 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd.) and MM 110 (SR 25) for proofing and wire pulling and CCTV foundations.
  • Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9PM-6AM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a right lane closure on I-65 southbound from MM 110 (SR 25) to MM 103.9 for the installation of guardrail at CCTV locations.

DAVIDSON and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, Removal and Replacement of HOV Signing and Thermoplastic Markings on I-65
Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 northbound from MM 74 (Old Hickory Boulevard) to I-440 (MM 80)  and I-65 ramps starting at MM 90 (Briley Parkway) MM 95 to (Vietnam Veterans Boulevard).

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52
Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on SR 237 over I-24 (Exit 8)
Saturday April 9, 7AM-3PM, I-24 eastbound will be closed at Exit 8 (SR 237, Rossview Rd.) in order to set bridge beams.  Traffic will be detoured at the off ramp and allowed to get back on I-24 on the on ramp.  Also, SR 237 (Rossview Rd.) will be closed during this time.

HICKMAN AND HUMPHREYS COUNTIES, Interchange Improvements on I-40 at SR 50
From now through November 2016, There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in Humphreys/Hickman County at MM 147.5 to 148.5 in order to extend the I-40 ramps at SR 50.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing I-24 from Stones River Bridge (MM 78.5) to East of the Bridge over CSX Railroad (MM 82)
Friday April 1 at 8PM through Monday April 4 at 5AM, There will be partial lane closures on the I-24 westbound on ramp at MM 81 (from Hwy 231, Church Street onto I-24 WB) for saw cutting of existing concrete pavement.  One lane will remain open to traffic.  One of the northbound turning lanes on Church Street (US 231) to I-24 westbound will also be closed.   Following completion of work, time permitting, I-24 westbound on ramp at MM 80 (from Hwy 99 onto I-24 westbound) will be partially closed for saw cutting of existing concrete pavement.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on SIA Route Serving Nissan North America
From now through August 2016, Singer Road, from North Broad Street to the Nissan North America entrance, will be closed to through traffic.  This closure will remain in place until the project has been completed or until 8/31/16.  Local business access within the project limits will be provided.

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 80 over Peyton Creek
From now through November 2016, SR 80 will be reduced to one lane at the bridges over Peyton Creek (LM 5.75 and LM 7.00) near Sawmill Lane for bridge repair work. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on US 70N/SR 24 over Caney Fork River
From now through July 2016, The US 70N/SR 24 bridge over the Caney Fork River will be closed for construction. A signed detour is in place.

TROUSDALE COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 260 over Little Goose Creek
From now through July 2016, SR 260 will be closed at the bridge over Little Goose Creek (LM 5.58) for bridge repair work. Detours will be in place.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road
Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9AM-3PM, Concord Road between Sunset Road and Nolensville Road will be reduced to one lane periodically for construction operations.  Traffic will be flagged at these times.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a shoulder closure on SR 840 in both directions from MM 28 to MM 35 for bridge conduit installation and pull boxes.
  • Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound from MM 76 through MM 56 to install conduit and pull boxes.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 31 (SR 6) at Miles Johnson Parkway in Spring Hill
Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will be a temporary lane closure on State Route 6/US31 at Miles Johnson Parkway.  Traffic will be affected in the northbound lanes and then the southbound lanes while crews pull wire and stand signals upright.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248

  • Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 9AM-3PM (Excluding Weekends), There will periodic lane closures on SR 248 (Peytonsville Road) and Goose Creek Bypass between Long Lane and Lewisburg Pike to install traffic loops. Flaggers will be used as needed.
  • Sunday April 3, 6AM-6:30AM, There will be a temp traffic stop on SR 248 (Peytonsville Rd) at the top of the ramp to install a signal arm.
  • Monday April 4 through Wednesday April 6, 8PM to 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions between MM 59 (SR 840) and MM 61 (SR 248) for milling and paving operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Repair of the Bridges on SR 840 over Boston-Theta Road and Sycamore Creek
From now through August 31, 2016, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions on the bridges over Boston-Theta Rd (LM 13) to perform bridge repair operations.

Davidson County

  • Thursday March 31 through Wednesday April 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for sweeping operations.  This will affect the shoulders, ramps, and inside/outside lanes.
  • Thursday March 31, 8PM–2AM, There will be lane closures of the two left lanes on I-40 westbound at 46th Avenue for milling and paving. Two lanes will remain open.
  • Tuesday April 5, 8PM–2AM, There will be lane closures of the two right lanes of I-40 westbound at 46th Avenue for milling and paving. Two lanes will remain open.
  • Tuesday April 5, 8PM–2AM, There will be lane closures of the left lane of I-440 West from MM 0.0 to MM 0.8 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open.

Giles County

  • Thursday March 31, 8AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 nouthbound between MM 16 and MM 18 for the removal of loose rock. The shoulder and outside lane will be closed for the duration of the removal.  One lane will remain open nouthbound. 
  • Wednesday, April 6, 8AM-5PM, There will be an inside shoulder and lane closure on I-65 northbound between MM 3 and MM 5 for the construction of a median crossover opening. Outside lane will remain open.

  • From now through Friday April 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) eastbound, between 22nd Street and 26th Street in the City of Lakewood, in order for Metro Water Services to line a sewer main.
  • From now through Friday April 8, 9AM -7PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 (Caldwell Lane) northbound in order to install a new water main.
  • From now through Thursday March 31, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 24 westbound (Charlotte Ave) between 11th and 12th Ave. for Metro Water to set meter vault.
  • From now through Friday April 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 11 for NES to remove and replace existing power poles between SR 45 (OHB) and Hunters Lane. 
  • From now through Friday April 29, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), SR-24 (Lebanon Pike) Lane closures for NES to Replace existing poles and transfer service to new poles. North and south bound lanes around intersection of Danyacrest Drive.
  • From now through Friday April 8, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), SR-254 (OHB) East and West bound Lane closures for NES to replace existing poles and transfer service to new poles. From Brentwood Commons Way to East of Oaks Drive.
  • From now through Friday April 1, (excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR-11 (Dickerson Pike) Metro Water and Sewer placing 2-4” water services and attaching to an existing 6” water main around  Evanston Avenue.
  • From now through Thursday March 31, 9AM-3PM, Metro Water and Sewer will have lane closures to lay an 8” water service in the southern margin of Broadway and connect to an existing 24” water main east of 5th Ave. S. 170’.
  • From now though Friday April 8, 8PM-5AM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 155 (Thompson Lane) from Address 89 through 411 for Piedmont Natural Gas to remove and replace existing gas service lines.
  • Monday April 4 through Monday April 11, There will be a lane closure on Old Hickory Boulevard westbound from 32nd St. to 30th St. in the city of Lakewood for installation of a storm drain running from 32nd St. to Old Hickory Boulevard.
  • Sunday April 3, 7AM-10AM, There will be a rolling road block on I-65 between Exit 84 (I-40) and 86 (I-24) at the 3rd Avenue Bridge for NES to pull electric line to existing electric poles.
  • Sunday April 3, 6AM-10PM, There will be a rolling roadblock on I-24 in both directions between Exit 11 (SR 76) and Exit 19  (SR 256) above Durham Road Bridge. AT&T Placing Aerial Fiber Optic Cable on existing power poles.

Rutherford County

  • Monday April 4 through Saturday April 30, 9AM to 5PM, There will be a temporary right lane closure on SR 1 westbound to facilitate the construction of a new right turn lane. One lane will remain open. Lane closures will be only as needed when work is adjacent to travel lane.
  • Monday April 4 through Saturday April 30, 9AM to 5PM,  There will be temporary left lane closures in both on SR 1 to facilitate the construction of a new left turn lane in the median. One lane will remain open each direction. Eastbound lane closures will not be in place after 4pm weekdays.  Lane closures will be only as needed when work is adjacent to travel lane.

Williamson County
From now through Friday April 1 8PM-6AM,  SR 6 (Franklin Road) will have lane closures for NES to  remove and replace poles, install new anchors and place underground conduits near the intersection of Chadwick Dr.

Wilson County
Sunday April 3, 6AM-10AM, There will be a rolling block on I-40 between MM 226 and MM 228 in order for Middle Tn. Electric Membership Corp. to pull lines across the interstate for the Under Armour Plant.
